Chevrolet's customer service is exceptional each time I come! If anyone thinks otherwise, it could be that there was a different set of employees here on the day you came.
Great honest, fair, dealer! We've bought 3 cars from CCOG my salesperson is Ed Carter, great guy, like a part of the family.
Goldsboro Chevy service department never disappoints. Today I noticed that my tires needed to be checked on my Toyota Camry due to the tire pressure light. I called Goldsboro Toyota to get in to have it checked and the phone rang and rang and rang. So I decided to try Goldsboro Chevy. We take my husbands Silverado here and so I decided to give them a try. Angie answered and told me to bring my car on in. She got it back and checked within minutes, and at no charge. Service like this is why we will stick with Goldsboro Chevy.
Hey All, I wanted to tell you what great service and quality you will get when you go to Chevrolet of Goldsboro. I take both of my car's here for most everything I need from the Service and Body Department. I trust them with my Wife's Honda and my Subaru. Through the Hurricane last year from all the damages the Honda sustained they saw us quickly, gave me an estimated time it would take, and where right on time meeting the deadline given. The repairs where great and I am still happy with the quality of the repairs to the body of the car.
Several months ago my Subie needed 4 new tires on a budget, and the Service heard me out, considered my budget and found me a great deal with rebates for all four tires.
Today my wife, along with our kiddo's in tow dropped by because her tire's which we got installed at CCOG where running low, and the Service Dept quickly filled them up and got my family on their way. The Service department took care of My Family, and considered our time as important, they will do the same for you when you choose to stop in for your car service.
Couldn't be more disappointed with the staff at Chevy of Goldsboro. I was in the market for a 2011 Chevy and decided that I was going to purchase the vehicle from a third party, but before I finalized any deal I wanted to get the car inspected by Chevy, as they would know the ins and outs of the vehicle considering they manufactured it. I met the seller at Chevy of Goldsboro and paid $93 for a "Pre-Purchase Used Car Chevy Inspection." This is the same inspection that "Certified Used Chevy's" sold on the lot underdo. The staff spent an hour supposedly "inspecting" the vehicle and told me that it was a great car and that they would feel 100% comfortable purchasing it. Therefore, I took their word and purchased the vehicle.
Within 3 weeks of purchasing the vehicle the brake pads and rotors needed to be replaced and the battery had died. Overall their lack of foresight and limited effort put into my $93 inspection has now cost me over $800.
The disappointing thing about this is that these are basic parts whose condition can be evaluated easily. If they would have done their job properly they could have made me aware of this and I could have easily negotiated down or walked away from the deal altogether. Instead, I paid $93 to have someone tell me everything is in great condition only weeks later having to replace many different parts costing me nearly a thousand dollars.
To top it off, I reached out to Chevy after they sent me a letter asking how my experience at their dealership went and they didn't even have the audacity to call me back after I asked for a refund.
So in conclusion, I paid $93 for absolutely nothing. They did not have the respect to call me back and say they could or could not issue a refund and they cost me nearly $1000 because their mechanics do not understand the ins and outs of vehicles.
Shame on Chevy!
I had a fantastic experience as usual. They were very friendly and they took me a little bit early. When they were done, they explained everything. I would recommend them to any friend of mine.
Chevrolet of Goldsboro is my go-to place for car service. I always visit them to get my oil changed because I know they'll be prompt and helpful. They also make it really easy to schedule a quick appointment.
When arriving, I was greeted promptly. Service waiting area, parts area and restroom were clean. Shuttle service was offered if needed. Customer Service an A+. Took a little longer than expected, found something that I was not aware of, but I'm glad it was brought to my attention.
I had a check engine light and a reduced power light, the vehicle even quits running sometimes. So I took it to the service department to diagnose what is wrong. Bottom line; $1000.00 later they still can't tell me what's wrong nor are the problems resolved. This is not to disparage any of the staff, they are always enthusiastic and polite. They keep me informed. So I am stuck, they can't fix my Envoy can't even tell me what's wrong. And I can't rely on the vehicle for transportation. If it were not for the attitudes of the staff I would feel cheated.
As always the service at CCOG is outstanding. I was just recently in for an oil change and tire rotation. I had exceptional service. It's always a pleasure going to CCOG for all my vehicle needs!
The service department staff at CCOG of Goldsboro are the model of customer service. By far the best dealership I go to for service. Other dealerships and even Chevrolet customer service could learn from their staff.
I recently purchased a 2017 Chevrolet Equinox from this dealership and could not be happier with the process. Hilda Parker assisted me with professionalism each step of the way. I have never laughed so much and felt so comfortable with an automobile salesperson. I actually started out by purchasing a car but was not satisfied so I went back to see Hilda a couple of days later and as they say the rest is history. I returned to CCOG a few days ago to have some accessories installed on my Equinox and everyone I dealt with in the Service Department was friendly and helpful. Overall I have found the staff of Chevrolet of Goldsboro to be very friendly and helpful. I was very appreciative of one gentleman who is not a part of the sales staff but answered some of my many questions in addition to my sales consultant Hilda. I believe his duties are to bring in the new and used vehicles. This is the first vehicle I purchased from CCOG.
The staff members were really helpful and friendly ! I had such a great experience with them ! I came in needing my head lights replaced and I made them aware that I was on a certain time limit and they assured me they would have me done and ready to go well before the time I had told them I needed to leave. Not only did they replace my headlights they also fixed the damage I had on the side of my car without me asking . I was so thankful and almost couldn't believe how friendly , fast , helpful and kind they were during my whole visit. They clearly didn't have to fix the damaged side on my car where I was hit but they did and not only that they gave me a break on the cost and that completely blew me out of the water !!!!!! Thank you soooo very much cheverlot of Goldsboro . May God bless everyone of you for being such a blessing to me!!! EXTREMELY HAPPY CUSTOMER!!!!!!!!!!
We were having an insurance repair done to the headlight of our Cadillac. We're not local to Goldsboro (Pink Hill), so getting there is not logistically easy. First trip for the repair you had the wrong part. Second trip. Repair was made improperly and generated an error on the vehicle display. Headlights also no longer functioned properly, and there were fingerprints all over the fender adjacent to the repair area. There was also a large new scratch on the passenger door that I can't prove happened there, but it happened there. Third trip. Errors cleared and full functionality restored to the headlights. When we were handed our (practically brand new) key fob back, it looked like it had been dropped into the gravel outside and stepped on. The very nice service person took back the fob and gave it a thorough shine with some Windex and a paper towel. The Windex didn't do much for the scratches though. When walked out into the gravel lot to retrieve our vehicle there was a piece of cardboard on the dash with the name James on it. So, I took that back in. After three trips of around 40 miles one way, at least the car is now whole (minus the scratch on the door and the damage to the key fob). The first night time drive of the vehicle after having it repaired revealed that the left headlight is now set substantially lower than the right. When we called back to discuss the issue we were told that was how they were 'supposed' to be adjusted, but if we'd like we could bring it in and they would measure them for us. Another 40 miles the next time we have the time to drive that way I guess. More than likely take it back to our original dealer in Durham and wash our hands of ill equipped Goldsboro dealer.
