This place was great! The owner is super laid back. Very welcoming atmosphere. Bathrooms are very clean and campsites are secluded from one another. Great scenery.

Semi wooded lots are fairly close to other campsites; I feel like they must have experienced awful campers at one point because the bathrooms are covered in passive-aggressive signs endorsing basic bathroom manners. That being said, the manager was really flexible in reserving my campsite as I was unsure how many would be in my group. He gave me his personal cell number to accommodate any changes I may need to make. The campsite was very quiet and peaceful with hiking trails and it was so close to all the crags we were climbing at. Would camp here again for sure.

This is the perfect home base for adventuring in the area. It's not far from river activities and sights. The camp host is friendly and helpful. The facilities are clean and well maintained. The sites are large and shaded. Good, dry fire wood is available on site. No credit card needed for reservations. All around great experience camping here!

I needed a weekend away in the woods. Where camping & relaxing were my top priorities. I was not let down! Bath house was clean & my showers were hot. Campsite was spectacular with natural shade & sufficient space between sites. If disc golf is your fancy, you to will not be let down. I threw a bit with the owner, Seth who was very accommodating during my stay & even gave me some tips on approach throws. The drive in was easy with a nice rustic feel. Would be perfect for the garden variety of climbers, hikers, river rats & nature lovers alike. My many thanks to Seth/staff, I'll hopefully be back soon.

Great campground, located maybe 3 minutes away from the New River Gorge visitor center and bridge. The campground is very wooded and all the sites I saw looked good. Ours was perfect for either a tent or hammock. Very quiet.

The bathrooms have showers which are free and they are crazy clean for a campground, you could probably eat in there if you wanted to (not sure why you would tho). The Staff who were there were very friendly and helpful. Great experience overall.

Had a great experience staying at this quiet, well-maintained and reasonably priced campground. Location lent itself to both hammock and tent camping and parking was within feet of the campsites. Bathrooms were clean and functional.

Beautiful primitive campground, some sites have platforms or even a cover. Seth is super friendly, bathrooms and showers are quite nice, and lots of character. Highly recommended

Was recently there for a climbing trip to the New. Campground is semi-private with different choices for camp sites. Each site has some different amenities but the campground operator was kind enough to offer a small discount to our group of 4. Common area washroom per gender is clean and large. The only annoying thing is the push button showers, but having them free is greatly appreciated!

A great campground for hammock camping (I was on site 29). There is also a very nice shower house. The owner is very responsive via text message. The road in and out is a little difficult for motorcycles, but it can be done.
