Unfortunately, upstairs (where the Cheers set is) feels like any other chain type of restaurant Definitely not a nostalgic feeling you'd imagine.. But I rarely watched the show. Food was good and they have beer specials. Staff was super friendly. But I would check out the downstairs bar. It's a bar, seems more cozy with a certain charm to it.

Was very neat to see in person, very clean bar. Much smaller then I expected. The set bar was unavailable to see during our visit due to a party but was able to see some of the memorabilia. If you enjoyed the show always worth a visit. I hope to update this review next year when I'm able to see the set.

For the novelty, it was worth the visit. I was there on Thanksgiving night near closing. Staff was polite and helpful. They could have used 2 more servers. Standing room only. It's a very small space for the amount of tourists that visit. I had the hot wings and skins. Tasty. The winter lager was very good. Cheers!

The Bull and Finch Pub was made famous in the TV show “Cheers”. While you won’t see Sam, Diane, Woody, Carla, Cliff or Norm it is a fun place to visit. While “Everybody knows your name”, with the large number of visitors they may need reminding! They have a variety of foods like hamburgers, chicken etc. Their foods are very delicious! They also offer lots of beers, wines, and hard liquor. There is a shop where you can purchase TV show related items like menus, T-shirts, mugs and beer steins with the “Cheers” logo. Everyone will want to visit at least once and after you taste the food you will want to go back! Prepare to wait as there usually is a line - but it’s worth it! Highly recommend!

IF YOU LOVED THE SHOWYOU NEED TO GO. But if you're hungrynot your place. You can walk by and visit the gift shop and replica bar upstairs all without going inside. walk down the stairs and poke your head in. just walking downstairs gives you that feeling of the opening scenes where someone walked in..its nostalgia for something you never personally experienced. the food is not as good as typical bar fare. there must be a lot of microwaves in the back. We had the baked beans--not our thing--not sweet enough, and also had the mac and cheese, a burger and fries. the only thing we finished was the burger and my goose and water. My chair was resting on a rocking plate that moved every time I moved and when I asked the server Molly what it was she said it was a trap door. The smell of standing water was apparent in the corner we sat in and it was bad enough that molly confirmed it and apologized. trap door, smell and Food aside, Molly was great, attentive, made sure we got our food quickly and when the runners confused seats one and two, she was there to fix it before we had to say a word. Molly was great, the gift shop was great, the experience was great, but I would have skipped the food. We will tell people to visit the gift shop if they are in town, but won't go back ourselves.

It was iconic to stand out the front of the cheers bar "Where everybody knows your name". Bought some souvenirs from the gift shop and took some pics. You can also have a drink and meal there too. We'd already eaten but people were enjoying their food

Currently sitting down having my meal which is absolutely delicious (blackened chicken sandwich)! I asked our lovely server if they had spicy mayo and she said no. I didn’t mind because not everyone does. About 2 minutes after I got my meal she shows up and says, “the chef made it for you”, MY SPICY MAYO :)!

If that isn’t great service.. I’m or sure what is!

First time in Boston and can’t wait to come back :)

Come here for the "experience" as this is the place that inspired the TV Show, but doesn't really look anything like the set. The food is pretty standard pub/garbage food. Nothing really bad about it, but its clearly all mass-produced mediocre quality sysco slop. The service isn't bad, but once again, leaves something to be desired. They are friendly enough, but not overly so to the point that you really want to tip them. Bottom line: come here once, see what happens, maybe choke on a hot dog, then get going on to the bigger and better things.

Fun. Great pub food selections that came fast. The fish and chips were GREAT with yummy, moist fish and crispy fries (and delicious slaw!) Great tap choices (love that down east cider!)
The staff was friendly, but they didn't know my name . hmmm

If cheers is your thing I guess this is the place where everyone will know your name then. Up charge to eat there just to say you ate at "Cheers". Take your photo outside with sign and move on to a better eatery. Cheaper Cheers souvenirs elsewhere.

Great atmosphere and fun experience all around. Had friendly staff and decent food. Make sure to pick up a cheers mug or some merchandise too if you're a fan of the show!

It's fine. Worth stopping by to say you did, but there are better bars in Boston that I'd rather go to. The beer selection is, just okay.. it's no different really from any standard sports bar.

It is an excellent place. I felt like in the 80's and 90's. The food was awesome. They have a very nice beer. Highly recommended. It is a place that you must visit.

If you were a fan of the show it's a definite must stop. The food was good. I had an iceberg lettuce wedge. They definitely don't hold back on the bacon or Bleu cheese. My friends got the everything appetizer. They couldn't finish it but they loved every bite. The wings and potato wedges were the best they said. Service was slow (to order, refill and get check) but it was a busy Friday night too. Nothing too crazy though. Relatively decent priced. Good, friendly ambiance. The staff when we first walked in weren't the friendliest.
