Delicious authentic Indian food. Charming setting.
groupon was a waste. The expensive food wasn't all that expensive. Stick to the basics and you can't go wrong.
I am an Indian and proudly say this place is one of the best Indian restaurant. The food here is amazing and I would highly recommend anyone visiting Boston to try the food here.
Nice vegetable biryani! Love it. Want to visit another time..
Hands down the best Indian food I've ever had. Absolutely delicious and the staff was so friendly, helpful, and gracious. Amazing food, service, and atmosphere. Would definitely recommend this to anyone in the Boston area!
Tiny Indian buffet, but the best value I discovered in Boston. One particular dish, the Fish Do-Piazza was billed as Tilapia with ginger, garlic and onions but it was the single best item I'd ever had on an Indian buffet. It was closest to Chinese sweet'n'sour, but more complex and subtle, and I could happily return to Mela and make a meal of it. Four stars because I have to keep something in reserve, but one of my best Indian buffet experiences.
While the staff was great, the place needs an overhaul in general. The decor seemed dated and when you enter the restaurant, there's a distinct unpleasant whiff in the air and the floor and tables tend to be a bit sticky. The food was definitely not the best Indian I've had either.
Very quaint and friendly but too expensive for the quality. Food was just ok,
I've had better Indian food. I had the Shimp and it was over cooked. Maybe the Chef was tired from a long day, it was late.🤤
I had a awesome vegetarian dish Baingan Bratha and it was the absolute best and well recommended to all who are both vegetarians and non-vegetarians.
Mela Indian Restaurant is the place to check out.
Came here for late lunch. The restaurant was empty except us. However, staff was happily to serve us. Great food and atmosphere.
Gorgeous food, friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. The takeaway orders are great too. Definitely recommend this restaurant.
A good neighborhood restaurant serving North Indian cuisine. They offer a good selection of dishes as well as beverages. They have a lunch/brunch buffet, which is somewhat limited but focuses more on quality than quantity of choices. The staff are all friendly and the naan is delicious. Not the best Indian cuisine around, but a good option if you're craving it. Lunch is reasonably but dinner is on the pricey side for the quality.
