I don’t know the area well and only spent a week around here for business, but it seemed that this is the best place to stay in the area. We stayed at the Cottages, inside the gated area. Great place in peace with nice views of nature and close to basic amenities, like the pub
Celebrated Holiday lunch. Food was phenomenal and the desserts amazing. The service and staff impeccable, superb, they were professional yet friendly. I felt extremely content. The hotel and event rooms are spectacular. I don't know who they had decorate but it was amazing.
From the moment my mother and I arrived at the Beautiful Chateau Elan we were escorted from our vehicle and greeted with superior quality service. The front desk staff was prompt and professional answering our questions with patience and detail. The shuttle service graciously transported us to the Spa where we're were able to review the Wellness services options and build our itinerary for tomorrow. We enjoyed the view while sipping on the aromatic apple tea accompanied by assorted fruits. We toped off the evening at the recommended Marc, the beautiful decor charming with a touch of holiday season. The service was top notch and the food was a Savory delight. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu and paired great wines with our meal. We look forward to enjoying the Magnificent Thanksgiving Buffet tomorrow.
Wonderful stay at the spa! The staff are excellent in helping you with whatever you might need. Beautiful atmosphere and very relaxing. The sap is amazing and the winery has great wine of all variety. Resurants we're delicious, Marc was the best dinner we have had in a long time. We will be back in the near future!
Went to Chateau Elan for the wine tasting and tour to celebrate my son's 21st birthday. All 3 of us learned so much and had a truly memorable time. Our Sommelier, Lucy, is a treasure. She really took the time to tell us all about each wine, what cheeses would bring out the flavors, some history, and some humor. She assisted all 3 of us in how to properly swirl, hold the glass, smell it, and recognize the nuances within each wine. Great experience. Looking to do it again when our daughter turns 21.
I visited Chateau Elan today for the first time with my niece who wants to have her wedding there and we were all so blown away. The property is absolutely gorgeous, the staff are very accommodating and obviously love what they do. We were impressed with the atmosphere, the hospitality, the gorgeous guest rooms and ballrooms and the atrium is just breathtaking. Not hard to imagine the way it'll look when it's all decorated for her. Looking forward to an amazing event.
Booked the "Elan Escape" overnight package at the Inn. I recommend this for a nice introduction to the Chateau without getting locked into too many prepaid items. (You can always add different amenities after arriving). You get one night at the Inn, 2 meals (dinner and breakfast) and a bottle of wine delivered to your room. You can choose your price based on what type of room you want. I also added a wine tasting for 2 which was excellent. You get to taste 8 wines and you will have a lot to drink. You'll want to order some food to go along with it. It was a very quiet weeknight for my stay - it would be interesting to see what it looks like when they are busy. The food at the Inn impressed us - exceeded our expectations. Overall - this will not likely be the nicest poshest "hotel" you've ever been to, BUT - the people that work at the Inn and the winery were by far the nicest, most polite and professional people I have ever encountered at any overnight accommodation. That was certain! There is a lot to explore - I wish I could speak on the golf course or the spa or the other dining rooms or the other overnight options . . . but I had a brief visit. (The pool looked really nice!)
The location of Chateau is perfect. Far enough away from the city to avoid big traffic, yet right off the interstate for easy access. The dining experiences are excellent as well, with delicious meals and kind wait staff. The entire staff at Chateau is accommodating and ready to help with any needs. I like that they seemed to employ many different nationalities noted by the country of origin on their name tags! The grounds are GORGEOUS! It's totally worth taking a stroll around the vineyards or golf course just to see the rolling GA hills. If there was a criticism at all, it would be that the actual facility is showing its age. The roof shingles are weeping, the moulding on the ceiling in the bathroom was cracking, there were old stains on the carpet and the pool deck had some cracks. Overall excellent place to spend an evening and no real criticism to earn less than 5 stars!
Visiting the winery Chateau Elan is the perfect way to spend a Saturday evening. Turning into the property is like being transported to the heart of California wine country. The staff was very knowledgeable about all of the different wines served on our wine flight, and the wines were some of the best I've ever had. If you're looking for a real treat to finish off the evening, stop in at Marc restaurant for dinner. The service and food was top notch, and they will even let you bring in the wine from your wine flight if you have any left. Overall, Chateau Elan is a treat you won't want to miss
My daughter and I spent a wonderful weekend at the Chateau. The spa treatments were superb. The gift shop very enjoyable. The Irish Public was so much fun. With a live Irish singer that encouraged diners to sing along. We ordered pub style food and drinks. A perk of the Chateau is the courtesy driver service from restaurant to our hotel. One afternoon our driver drove us to a hilltop at sunset to see it glow over the acres of vineyards. It was a brilliant sight. We give five stars to our fantastic weekend at the Chateau Elan.
We went to the main hotel and ate at Versailles. The ambiance, food, service, location was superb. It is Easter weekend and the place was amazing. Our servers were tops. They were warm and welcoming. So helpful and attentive.
I really enjoyed my stay here. The suites were very clean and comfortable The buffet of food was hot and tastes exceptionally good. Everything was easily accessible the grounds were beautiful. The staff was very helpful and friendly our night there was great!!! I will be back..
I stayed for two nights in a 3-room villa with my mom and 5 sisters. We did a cooking class with Chef Michael Echols the first night, got massages the second day, and ate in the bar the second night. Michael and Martina made the cooking class really fun! We drank wine while we cooked a delicious meal with Michael's guidance. Teresa Davis was my masseuse for the 80-minute aromatherapy massage. It was fantastic! I cannot recommend her enough! The pub was cozy with delicious food and a fun atmosphere. The hotel staff was very helpful and accommodating. For anyone looking for a fun, relaxing time, I highly recommend Chateau Elan!
First of all coming on to the grounds for the first time I was genuinely stunned. For the average person the resemblance to a castle with the main buildings grey exterior and refined elegance is simply so out of the norm but helps to set the tone for the experience. The elegance continued as when my party made it to the interior we were met with soft live piano music and a slim but delicious selection of foods. The jumbo shrimp held true to its name, the prime rib was cooked to perfection, and the lobster risotto was nothing short of magical. Overall it was some of the best food I've ever had and was worth ever penny.
