Beutiful natural relaxing place. Dont come if you need fast food shopping restaurants etc.
Paddled around here. Was too early to see many manatees tho. Beautiful paddle, a little eerie tho - they took some storm damage around the area this past summer and a few structures are not inhabited by anything except the birds. Tons of wildlife to see, lots of birds turtles and fish. Was lucky to meet a volunteer for fish and wildlife during my paddle who showed me how to get to 3 sisters springs, which was incredible
Attended a surprise party for a family member. It was nice and private. The atmosphere is like you are camping . Great for kids to run around also offers a small hall that you reserve in advance. Table's and chairs for people in your party who may need to have a.c.
Beautiful tropical scenery. Like Belize. Remote little getaway from busy Spring Hill. The clean and white sandy beach is good to watch the Gulf and sunsets are glorious! Not too busy mainly because the water there is bad.is shallow and hot. Lots of seaweed. It's not so great to go on a hot day. Think May through October.
Pure Love. But, perhaps the worst place to take kids! More importantly, I HAVE to give praise where it's due Animal rescue is no fun! These folks have courage to do something GREAT that stretches far beyond my abilities. Pray for them, support them, love them. #Blessed #TGTG
My wife and I enjoyed this place, a lot. Apparently, they only deal with "rescues", which kind of makes it, even better. The animals seem to be well cared for. The staff was friendly and polite. Admission is $13 per adult. (I don't know if it's less for kids) They have a few different ways into the main park, via tram, by boat, walking or, you can drive your car there. Due to weather, the tram was our morning option, but, the boat took us back to the visitors center. (The boat ride is much more interesting ) this is definitely agood day trip, if nature is your thing.
Nice easy river to kayak. My kids and husband love the water caves, and we usually see manatees.
Beautiful destination. Clear pristine water. Florida the way it used to be .
Headed to wiki wachi but they were at capacity already. Googled nearby beaches and pine beach popped up. This is in the preserve. Wonderful place to visit and the concession food was incredible. Best we have ever had, and reasonably priced.
Great place to go Kayaking. You will see a lot of wild life. Also check out Seven Sisters Springs at the headwaters of the Chassahowitzka River.
