Tomato bisque and amazing grilled cheese sandwiches! Really yummy, a menu that is a bit limited. Think cafe rather than full restaurant--except it does include a bar. But what I have eaten here is really good.
We really enjoy dining at Chanterelle. They have a rotating seasonal menu that is worth trying as well as a great selection of Northwest fare.
The meatloaf in particular is fantastic if you want a hearty plate and their selection of fresh fish never fails.
Their friendly service is helpful and engaging as well.
Don’t forget to come back and try their brunch before strolling downtown or the waterfront on an Edmonds kind of weekend ;)
The service was excellent and the food passable. My only real complaint bwas the size of the servings. They are in the slightly smaller side. Great place for a lighter meal though too as they have some nice vegetarian options.
Great breakfast, potatoes dry but otherwise great. Great bloody Mary's. Fast service, very friendly. Great customer service.
Great food and service. Atmosphere is nice as well. Never had a problem getting a table, yet the place is usually full. Locals love it.
Delicious soup and sandwich served very promptly despite how busy it was. Loved it and will definitely return.
Nice place, good service. Became very loud as restaurant filled up. My lunch companion and I both ordered ahi tacos; she asked for hers well done, I asked for mine rare. They both came well done. I asked to have one brought to me on the rare side, as they are usually served, and was taken care of promptly.
Each time I've been here I've received cold food but can't get a waiter in time to get it fixed. Each time they check back, I'm told they aren't making XYZ anymore and they leave without giving an alternative. Often, the food is brought out to a few folks, while others sit there watching them eat. Sad thing - the food is good when it is hot. The level of service needs to be stepped up before I will send folks there.
Food was excellent, and the atmosphere and service were top-notch. Our server, Lauren, was smart, funny, and extremely attentive, which was all the more impressive given how busy it was. No wonder why it is so popular. Nicely done, folks. We will be back the next time we are in Edmonds.
Outstanding customer services in every aspect. Owner came up immediately upon entering to find out the number and name. The food was fresh and they accommodated each change to everyone's lunch selection. The wild Alaska salmon was perfectly cooked and the quinoa side salad it came with, was delicious.
Owners and staff are great. Nice, casual environment and awesome food.
This is a great little restaurant that we found about two months ago in downtown Edmonds. The food is fabulous and it's only a few blocks from the water. I definitely recommend this place to anyone. Depending on the time of the day, there can be a short wait to be seated.
Chanterelle is nice, light and bright with big windows good service and a nice menu with one glaring exception, which led to a very disappointing lunch last week. You'd think that being 300 yards from Puget Sound, their Open Face Crab Melt sandwich would feature lots of delicious Dungeness crab and cheddar cheese! Not so much :-( The crab was shredded to the point that, if it was Dungeness, you couldn't tell and the cheese, while cheddar, was skimpy and not very hot. It wasn't bad, it just was no where near as good as I was expecting.
Came for a late Sunday breakfast. We were seated quickly at a cute little table by the window. Ambience is excellent, as is the service. Their Chanterelle Bloody Mary was nice and peppery, which is exactly how I like it. We'll certainly be back, as there were many other dishes I saw on the menu that I want to try.
