$6 for glass of Brut. No wait to sit at steamer table at the bar at 8 on Friday night. :) Good table service. Lots of TV viewability. Wide selection of beer and interesting foods available.

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. The waitress AND manager argued with us over 50 cent wings when she made the mistake. Tried to make us pay for it instead of taking it back to the kitchen as any good waitress would. On top of it made us split our own check. She should be glad its a table full of waitresses.

This was the worst experience as a customer my family has ever had in a restaurant! While visiting our son at college, we thought it would be great to go off campus and took a chance at Champs in Altoona, PA. Much to our disappointment this turned out to be one of the worst dining experiences ever. Our son order a pasta dish with some sort of cheese that was quite distasteful. He took a bite and immediately said he could not eat this. Never mind he is a young man that will eat almost anything! I took a bite of the dish as well as my husband, and we ALL came to the same conclusion that this dish was horrible. We expressed our concerns to the waitress, and she asked if we wanted something else ordered. Of course, we ordered another dish for our son. She proceeded to remove the dish from the table and we certainly was NOT expecting this to be on our bill. When the bill came it was there and we expressed that we were not going to pay for something that we did not eat and had concerns about the taste. We asked to see a manager and when he came to the table, it was the worst customer service ever!! He proceeded to tell us this is the company policy is, that unless the waitress did something wrong or the kitchen provided an incorrect order, we would have to pay for the dish. We again expressed that we did NOT eat the dish because it tasted horrible, and he proceeded to threaten us by saying he would have to CALL THE POLICE. Really!!! That's how you treat your customers??? Oh, and it gets better. He proceeded to inform us they had the dish ready to go for us in the back kitchen. Wow!
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this establishment to anyone!! or any of its affiliates!! If you are in the Huntingdon PA area do NOT go to this place in Altoona or State College. You don't even deserve to receive One Star!response / report this review -

Highly recommend this place. It is perfect for going out with friends or on a nice date. The food is truly amazing with a wide variety. The staff/service is always wonderful too!

Cool atmosphere. Food was ok, though my guests raved over the wings. My scallops were good, but overpriced for two. Parking was an issue, and some of our party never joined us due to parking. Staff was reasonable. Wait time for food was reasonable. I'd try it again perhaps during off peak hours. There were some odd odors wafting up to the second level noted by myself and my guests. Overall it was a peculiar visit!

Excellent food all around. Can be very loud at times, but it has a fun atmosphere. Highly reccommend the Greek Salad, French Dip, and Chocolate lava cake!!

Fantastic beer selection! Beer prices are a little high compared to other craft beer bars, like Pour in Ebensburg. Food was good and was at a decent price.
