There are a few select teachers who are needles in the haystack who are great and genuine. But too many who are not and noticeably hate their job. Dear professors, it shows. The lack thereof is why the graduation rate is 20%. I hope CCCC chooses their teachers more wisely because that is what sculpts young minds.

Absolutely thrilled with my experience here at CCCC of Pittsboro so far! I'm attending the Sustainability Technologies program. Honestly when I was looking at their website online the course seemed a bit intimidating due to me having little experience relating to any of the classes I'll be taking. I made the commitment and I'm making strides in fields I never thought I'd be interested in. I've been to college before and it was a bad academic experience, here at CCCC of Pittsboro I honestly feel I couldn't have better instructors. Absolutely phenomenal. These guys have an exceptionally bright future if they keep running that school and farm the way they do. I even get to volunteer on the school farm to earn organic food that I can take home to my family, while also learning a lot from Mr. James Fry who's my good friend that runs the school farm. The teachers here really make this school what it is, I'll be able to thank them for the rest of my life because they've also invested in me. So if you want to pretty much save the world for lack of better words, and to give back to the Earth while helping humanity, small or large scale, this would be THE place to start.

It was a great school. The professors made themselves available for assistance and to questions, but usually only by appointment. At the end of each class there was a one-on-one with the instructor where you were asked a few questions like, "What did you like best?" or "What would you change or add to the course?" This one-on-one only occurred at the conclusion of the classes pertaining to my major, not general education courses. Overall the instructors were excited to teach. I finished my program and met my goals of graduating when I intended. I'm happy I attended.

Worst college ever!. Instructors barley care about the students. Counselors are rude. Been going to the college for 3 semesters simply because it was close to my previous location. Today, (June 9, 2014) I drove almost 3 hours to registrar for classes for fall semester. My counselor would not make time for me nor anyone else. They expect for you to come in for everything and to speak with teachers. Not everyone can work with their schedule when we have our own.
For being a returning student you would think they would treat you with respect. Will no longer be learning at Central Carolina Community. I am now looking to transfer to a college that has a much better graduation rate.
