I love this place! They have the best clam chowder in the valley! Great atmosphere too. They say it's haunted?

Best chicken sandwich I've ever had in my life. Club. Hands down. And the place is chill, good crowd, great vibe, nice setup, atmosphere is great, and awesome art , landscape and decor.
    Just go!

Mediocre service, so-so food, average drinks yet still the best bar in Tempe. Can't live with Casey's, can't live without it.

Loved it! Casey Moore’s has been referred to me many times as a great place to eat and hang with the locals. I travel to Tempe often and was excited to give it a try. Great food! My husband had the shrimp tacos and my son and I had the fish and chips. The atmosphere was casual and fun. My only complaint is that the great outdoor seating was full of smokers. We would have loved sitting outside in the warm AZ air but it was polluted with smokers in every corner. Maybe they could section off a portion of the patio for smokers? That might have been the case but every section we checked out had active smokers. Still, great place, great service!

TL;DR I would not recommend going here if you are a woman or are in a group with women.

They have a poor policy for the outside bathroom. It's an enclosed area up against one of the walls of the building and apparently if you're a woman trying to use this bathroom you and your whole party will be asked to leave. Interestingly, they only have a male bathroom on the patio. There are additional restrooms another 150ft or so outside of the bar, and this is where women have to go to use the restroom. Outside of the bar. I understand that a man walking into a woman's restroom would face similar expulsion from the bar, but the fact that there is not a women's restroom on the patio, and the fact that there is little to no explanation (or signage about the additional restrooms) to patrons indicates that's there is little care on the part of the management that women are welcome at this bar. I argue that a female customer going to Casey's for the first time would have no idea that the outside restroom is for men only, especially because the door has both the word "Men" on it, and a picture of a woman's face. Finally, the lack of understanding on the part of the bar staff made the experience extremely unpleasant.

Good Food! Excellent New England style Clam chowder if you like it thick and rich! Oysters on the half shell, shrimp! All my favorites! Very open patio area with a excellent patio bar that serves all the favorite drinks. The place has a nice vibe and a buzz level that is energizing without being so loud which allows for being able to have conversations, business or otherwise. Great Place!

Such good foodChipotle humus with blackened chicken and crab cakes. They also have a great $4 daily beer special. It can sometimes be a little slow getting served however it's a decent spot if you have the time to sit back and relax.

The service was good, I ordered at the bar. I ordered the crab cakes and scallops, it was very disappointing. To be fair, I was told by friends that my expectation may have been too high since I'm use to fresh seafood from Florida. But I don't agree.

Casey's has been our second living room for the past 10+ years. Great vibe, chill atmosphere and one of the lushest patios in the valley. You can enjoy the patio year round thanks to the great misting system, heaters, mature, shady trees and overgrown vines that add to it's ambiance. The service is great, the waiters/bartenders treat you like family and the food is consistently good! You seriously can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Great happy hour specials and dog friendly patio too! We love Casey's and couldn't imagine our life in Tempe without them! Our dog Roka gives it two paws up & 5 tail wags!

    Hip neighborhood bar in Tempe.

Where the cool kids hang out. :P

Seriously though, it's kind of the perennial hangout bar spot in Tempe
Great when Mill ave is just too much and/or you actually want to be able to hear your friends.

Food was good, didn't like the Smoking thing. Waitress was nice and friendly. One big problem, they brought all of our food at once Main course, appetizers, REALLY !!!! how dumb do you have to be ? that kinda sucked but we ran with it. I would go there again, so I can try some of the other things. Definitely a much younger crowd, I will try the weekdays for an earlier dinner. Other reviews complained about the service, I would agree they could really improve in that area .

Definitely in my top three favorite places in downtown Tempe. It's off the beaten Mill Ave path a bit, but worth looking for tucked in a residential neighborhood. I've never had anything but good food, and the oysters are awesome. Their wraparound patio area is my favorite outdoor drinking spot; they have misters, shade trees and umbrellas, AND huge industrial fans(and little fans all around the outside bar). I love the giant full-length mirrors in the women's bathroom, and I hear the Blarney Stone urinal thing is cool for the dudes too. Super pet-friendly and mellow. I never spent much time at the inside bar or dining area as it's a little dark and cramped, and with that patiojustwhy?

Been here twice when i come to visit and the food is great. We always go overboard with deep fried everything but nothing feels greasy. It also seemed exceptionally cheap for what we got. 10 beers, 6 apps and a doz oysters only came to about $100. And the portions seemed large. Be careful of the oysters though. They're not dainty pacific oysters. If you have a problem with the huge beefy variety you might want to pass. I'm not a huge fan of oysters that large, but they tasted good.

In my mind, Casey's is the quintessential neighborhood bar. This place has a great deal of personality.

They beer is good. The mixed drinks are occasionally not great, so I wouldn't order anything complicated (especially on a busy night). The chicken strips, while far from a culinary breakthrough, are always a satisfying companion to a beverage or two.

I will always have fond memories that either started or ended by getting drinks at Casey's.
