Easily becoming one of my favorite spots. Low key, great crowd, easy going. Good specials. What more can you ask for?

Fun and friendly place with a college/sports bar vibe. Great food, reasonably priced. Its my new home-away -from home in downtown Tempe.

As someone who's just turned 21, bars aren't a big thing for me. I'd much rather sit back at home and enjoy a drink then go out to a bar. Having said that though, out of the few that I have gone to, Devil's Advocate sports bar is probably one of my favorite. I've gone twice now once with friends and once with a significant other. There's always a lively atmosphere and the bartenders are acute and pay attention to when your drinks are up. I would say if you're going for a chill session with some friends, or are just planning to have a good time with some people you want to hang out with, this would be the place. This is not going to be a rave bar where you can dance on the tables in scream like a crazy person.

Great sports bar near campus. A colleague and I found the spot when searching for a bar/restaurant to watch Monday Night Football. The place started out fairly empty, but really got crowded before long. There were great happy hour options on both food and drinks. Our waitress was very attentive. The food was great. I tried the peanut butter beer - very interesting. I love peanut butter, but the beer was a little much! Will return when in the area.

Devil's advocate was a fine establishment. Drinks were reasonably priced and food was good. I wouldn't say the best but its bar food. It's what you'd expect. But the vibe of devil's advocate is why you go. It can be slow because it's quite far from all the bars on mill but this is a good hole in the wall to chill and have beers with friends. Loads of TV's.

Great college bar. Servers are friendly, atmosphere is nice (can get a little loud), prices are good and the food is great. Good place for a quick lunch near ASU with plenty of free parking.

I live on the northeast side of town but friends were meeting other friends for the McGregor and Mayweather fight. Have not been to this place since became Devil's Advocate. Of course the place was busy but the girls who were the wait staff did a amazing job for the amount of people that were in the bar, appeared they could only go as fast as the bartenders and the bartenders seemed a little slow. Noticed food coming out to other tables look really good we had already ordered boneless wings and assortment of other food everything was way above average for bar food. Also they had the big Stein beer glasses which is always a plus. I look forward to going back to this place.

We went there for the first time last night & the food was SOOOO GOOD!! The prices were excellent too. The beer were giant but we did wish they were colder. The bar has a super cool English pub feel to it & the bathroom were also very clean. I wish we lived closer bc we'd definitely go there often.

Waiter kept touching me and pushed me. I had gone with 30 of my coworkers we all work at Yelp. Was there for a Birthday party and this Waiter named Melissa was being snotty to my coworkers because she was taking food orders from a group of us. I went to get a beer at the Bar and the Waiter Melissa said "Excuse me" because I was by a computer screen where she takes orders. Then me already moved she comes by again and tells me to move again, I'm no longer by the screen. She leaves and comes back 3x and each she tells me to move(I'm at a bar ordering waiting for the bartender who takes forever) Once more, where I am NO longer by the screen, my back is turned. She gets mad and sighed and I tell her "Don't be rude." and then she grabs me by the shoulders and forces me to move away. I tell her not to push me and I get kicked out by her. Me and the 30 coworkers left and most of us didn't get our food that we ordered. It was my first time there.

Interesting chicken chili spring rolls. They reminded me of chicken salad, which I like. I liked them cause they were different. Staff was nice and helpful. Other patrons seemed to be enjoying themselves. Nice to have a pool table and shuffleboard. I also liked the books ambiance. The local beer I tried was just ok. Also kinda dark inside.

The food is very good, unlike most bar food, and the drink menu is pretty extensive (if you like beer). We went on St Paddy's Day and they didn't have a happy hour that day which kinda sucked given the specials of the day were only 4 things. We had a new server who was terrible and it took over 20 mins to get our first round of drinks (after we moved outside because the girl at the bar was completely ignoring us), but once I complained to another server, every single server came out to help us, talk to us, and gave us a free round of shots to make up for our initial experience. Really friendly and fun place to get drinks. Don't bring your kids, though! The servers aren't afraid to curse and have a good time. Thought this was self explanatory given that it's a bar, but we got dirty looks from a table with kids for letting a few 4 letter words slip out. Sorry not sorry, don't bring your kids to a bar on a Friday night. Fun placejust wish the manager had come to talk to us after the issues we were having instead of leaving it to the servers to make it up to us. Seems a bit unprofessional. That's where they lose a star for me.

The best service experiences we have ever had. We called ahead to see if they were pet friendly. Yes they are. Said they had a patio. We took our bulldog with us. They brought out water and some bacon for him. He was very happy. The food was perfect. Well be back again. . Thank you D.A.
