An old fashioned Florida fish house that is 2nd to none. The specials were great but the snapper sandwich was my favorite item and at a great price. We were treated like family.
Not much fish in my Blackened Snapper tacos. The server (Shannon) was more interested in turning the table than giving us great service. She rushed us through the whole meal. It’s a beautiful spot but service was not.
Fun! Great atmosphere. Service is nice but slow when busy. Food was ok but not fantastic, however the view and atmosphere is what it's all about. Will def be returning!
Great lunch, help with our boat tie-off and was awesome with the dog. Food was also good. It was easy going and laid back, how could you complain about that?
The food was DISGUSTING and I honestly thought that if I ate it I would get poisoned. The service and the view, was great, just like people have said in the previous reviews. I have no idea why people would leave such good reviews on the food! I would have rated it a zero if that was an option!! The place was great, but the food was the worst!!!! I would not recommend eating here.
We just love it here. The restaurant is good. The restrooms need to be redone. The food is ok. It's the Tiki Bar right next to the water that we really like. The bartenders are great! There is a small beach area and dock. They rent boats too. Sometimes they how musical entertainment.
Excellent seafood choices and preparation. Very casual and informal waterside dining - place for boats to tie up and adequate parking across the street and next to the restaurant. Efficient service.
Always enjoy the freshly caught local choices - snapper, grouper, etc.
I want to love this place because of its location. Tried it three times over 2 years. I found it expensive and the food is mediocre. Tap beer is served in small plastic cups too. Every other water front dining establishment we have been to from Venice to Sarasota is better. The staff was always friendly but average in attentiveness.
Awesome dinner and fun atmosphere. We had the Cod fish and chips, fried shrimp and Seafood Pasta. Everything was amazing and our waitress, Rhonda, was great! Quick service and very friendly. Definately recommend this place and we will be back.
Very fun atmosphere yet relaxing being right next to the water. Service is great. Food is plentiful and tasty.
CKFH is a great place for a tasty lunch or dinner with a nice west coast FLA view. The service is always friendly. My Wife and I dine here often.
Enjoyed a very nice meal overlooking the water. The food was well prepared, the service was very good, and the price was good ($$$). It is pet friendly, and several people were dining with their dogs. You can also dock and eat here too. Definitely will come here again. As an added bonus, drive up and down Casey Key and enjoy the homes and scenery on the way to the restaurant.
We visit the area once a year and always stop by Casey Key Fish House ever since our first experience 9 years ago. It's a quaint building with outdoor pier-like sitting and the inside space is also pretty open to outside. There are typically all sorts of birds hanging out on the boats, but they never bother you. The tiki bar across the parking lot is a fun spot to hang out while waiting for a table. This place is popular so expect a wait or get there early!
The blackened grouper sandwich is my go-to at many restaurants and Casey Key's is tough to beat. The daily specials are always great; nicely cooked fish with incredible toppings (sauce, jam, etc). Pretty kid friendly since it's a relaxed area and you can always take them outside to look at the birds or fish if some distraction is needed.
Only negatives I can say are that once we got sat at a table and waited 15 minutes before being greeted. I think it was a mishap in the hostess forgetting to tell the server about us. Also, on a hot and muggy day, the indoor seating can get really warm. We were seated in the back by the thermostat and it was in the low 80s.
