I have been to Clyde's gallery in Big Cypress and love his work. Today I finally got to visit his Venice gallery and what a treat. Not only did I get to see his work displayed in large sizes, but also tour his darkroom. I bought one of his fabulous books and really enjoyed the visit. Clearly worth the trip.

Visiting Clyde Butcher's Venice Gallery is a celebration of nature's beauty. The master craftsman and his entire staff are personable and extremely knowledgable. Don't miss this chance to see a true Florida Icon! And the darkroom tour is a must see!

Well worth the trip especially when you can catch one of the tours around Clyde Butcher's darkroom and print facilities in the back! America's 21st Century Ansel Adams, Clyde Butcher, advocates for nature preservation with his world famous photos.

This is an amazing gallery! My wife and I went to his gallery in the Everglades, and we're addicted to his work now. The way he sees the images before he takes them with his camera, and how he shoots his film and developes the photos are true artistic photography. Best part of walking through the gallery is not only looking at the photos, but also meeting the artist and hearing the stories behind each photo. This is a MUST visit gallery.
