Good selection of cigars, everything is nicely laid out. If you like non Cubans, this place is for you. Also sells a decent range of cigar accesories like cutters, punchers, lighters, carry boxes. But despite the active humidification i seem to have purchased some really dry cigars. In addition, the salesperson mistook spotty white mold for plume, and plume is hard to develop in a shop environment like that.

Selection wasnt what I was lead to believe. They only want you to smoke in the back half so "the smoke stays back there" like it doesnt move around. The guy who cut mt cigar cut so little, it was a tight draw and I told him, "I need more cut off." He replies, "thats enough, thats how I always do it." A little condiscending like he believe I didnt know the 1st thing about smoking.

Made for an unpleasnt smoke. I wont be returning.

À wide variety of choices and good advice from the salesman. The shop is just 1mn walk away from the La Fayette square where it's pleasant to enjoy the cigars you just purchased.

Selection is satisfactory. The staff mainly kept to themselves and their "preferred" patrons in the back of the humidor. More effort should be made to welcome new customers. No restroom.

I been going to JR (DC) for 4 maybe 5 years now. The staff were always helpful and knowledgeable. They don't press you as soon as you step in the door like the small time tobacco shops (who know very little to nothing about fine cigars). The cigars (name brands and JR Alternatives) are at an affordable price. I stayed to enjoy the lounge area twice. The ventilation is perfect.

I am a novice cigar smoker but was made to feel like "one of the gang" immediately as I entered the store! The staff took time to explain the layout, helped me with my selections, then made me feel welcomed in their smoking area, where I met some great folks that enjoy cigars there regularly. I ended up staying there for almost two hours! Thanks for a wonderful experience!
