Visited Key West last week and stayed at the Casa Marina. I have to say I was very disappointed with the rooms. Very dated with several issues. My tub would not drain properly, the sink leaked all over the floor, and there was plywood bolted to the ceiling to cover a hole that was previously cut in it. They offered to move us to another room, but it was just as bad.

The property and service were good, but I would expect more from a hotel that charges so much to stay there. I have stayed at Hamptons that are much nicer. I will stay somewhere else on my next visit to Key West.

This is, by far, the best hotel in Key West. Great rooms, great beach, great service. Everything is amazing there. The history of the hotel is worth learning while your there. I can't say it enough, stay here every time you come to Key West.

The hotel grounds are really beautiful. There is a family pool and an adults pool, which is really convenient. The beach is lovely, but really rocky. The Reach "sister hotel" had a better, but smaller beach that was much more swimable. The reason I would give this a 4 star review, is that the service is not great. You often have to wait to get a seat by the pool and beach, to get towels, etc. There is only one towel place that services both the pools and beach. The restaurant service is very slow too.

Great ocean view room. The resort makes a lot of activities very convenient for guests: bikes, scooters, kayaks, jet skies, spa, etc. The room and some parts of the hotel were a little dated an worn. I expected a little more in that area, but it was still nice compared to other places we have stayed in Key West.

One of Key West's oldest hotels and a landmark, it is a Waldorf Astoria. Lovely service staff. Separate adult and family pools with full-service bar on the adult side. All things watersports, bike and scooters on premises make this an easy run from airport to fun. Private beach fronts the property. I will be returning either to this Hilton property or it's nearby sister, The Reach, also a Waldorf Astoria. Love the Keys!!! Stay strong, Conchs!!

My husband and I planned to spend our honeymoon in Key West, but we had to make other arrangements due to the hurricane. Hilton would not allow us to cancel our reservations without a fee until 9/13. Hilton told us that this hotel was still open and when we tried to call the phone lines were all disconnected. Once we were able to cancel our reservation they said our money would be refunded within 72hrs. Now it has been 168hrs and we still have not received our refund even after numerous calls. I have stayed in this hotel twice before and had a good experience, but the stress they have caused us during our honeymoon is unexceptable. There is absolutely no reason why we should not have been refunded our money by now. I not only will never stay at this hotel again but will never stay at another Hilton. But here we go on to the next phone call . . .

Have a reservation for a couple Tuesday and Wednesday night. However, Hurricane Irma is projected to make landfall Friday or Saturday. In an effort to not get stuck in Key West with a 4mo Old at home we are trying to cancel without any avail even though the governor has issued a state of emergency. Truly a company that doesn't care about the customer, just the almighty dollar. Will not be staying here or any other Hilton!

The history and external appearance is on point. Real classy from the outside and the lobby. The rooms however can use some updating. The service was good but could be better if there aiming to be a 5 star resort. The beach was scenic but not the best to swim as there rocks everywhere and you need to jump in from the dock on site. Food is overpriced but keep in mind your at a resort in Key West so your options are little to no existent for so a fair price and average food is NOT the norm. I would recommend this place if looking for a classy place to stay however I would not be surprised if there were a more up-to-date fancier place to stay that is not as well advertised in Key West. I would stay here again for the right price but would be open to staying somewhere else in hopes for a better experience.

I am not one to complain and I have never felt the need to right a negative review but this hotel is the absolute worst. We arrived late (after midnight) with two young children and as we were walking to our room I saw people having intercourse in the pool. I asked the bellhop if the pool was open 24 hours and he said no it closes at 9:00. I then pointed at what I saw and he just shrugged his shoulders. We got to the room and it was so old and unkempt. We left the next day. Truly horrible experience. I felt I needed to warn people about this place because I really don't understand how it can possibly have 4 stars. It's like a cheap motel.

Very nice hotel which is well maintained. Rooms are nice and clean. Beds are high quality. Pool area is split into a regular and an adult pool. Both are identical and also very nice. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back. I highly recommend the Waldorf Astoria for anyone visiting Key West

So disappointed! Checked in today - first room was 3rd floor and elevator was broken. Not acceptable for a room priced $700/night. Asked to be moved - desk agent acted like it was huge imposition but without a smile or word reassigned my room. Went to dinner bc kids were starving - went to second room and it's an accessible room. Sure wished she had mentioned that! Went to front desk to ask for another room, but it was same desk agent didn't want to deal. Also, side note, we booked an ocean view room but we overlook a lovely public parking lot. If you stand with your back against the wall and strain your neck you can see a sliver of water. Giving 2 stars because lobby and pool areas are nice.

I recently enjoyed dinner outside at their restaurant. The ambiance was absolutely perfect for reconnecting with friends. The service and the food were both good, not excellent but satisfactory. The evening's ambiance made the food somewhat forgettable. I had the ribs which were nothing to complain about but also not worth bragging about. The best part of the night was relaxing, laughing, and reminiscing.

We had a waterfront room. The view was wonderful, and we felt well hidden from others on our patio. The in-room service was excellent and the food was much better than any of the Ritz Carlton's we've visited. Every effort was made to assure that our stay was comfortable and relaxing. We would definitely stay at Casa Marina again!

Disappointed is an understatement. At roughly $500 a night, the discounted rate, for a standard room, we highly suggest not wasting the money. The grounds are beautiful, but the rooms are dated, unclean, and our first view was of Porta johns. It was in a section of the hotel, that one, would only describe as a dismal roadside Motel. After complaining, We were moved into another part of the building, the halls were dark, wall paint was severely scratched, the elevator facades scratched and damaged, rug was stained.. the room nicer but a gross long walk to it the manager was kind, and understanding, she moved us for the last 2 days to a nicer room to try and make up for it. We only stayed because my sisters had booked their room on points, otherwise we would have left in the first hour. I wish I could post the photos!

Exceptional staff and service, very attentive. Exactly what you expect from a WA property. So relaxing, grounds are well maintained, beach is beautiful but a rocky waterline. Doesn't detract as there are steps to the water from the pier. Rooms are not overly large but clean, decor is updated and fantastic views from the balcony. Drinks are great, nice wine selection but we went to the Reach for dinner as Casa Marina's restaurant is a little casual. Take advantage of the personalized concierge for any excursions. Great selection and very reasonable for the offerings. Will definitely be back!
