I was there and had their pizza. I has the Margarita one. Plenty for two and we loved the thin crust. Their soup of the day changes but it's also good. They also have a great beer selection. We were there later in the evening so it was very quiet. If you like plants, someone there takes very good care of them. Large, beautiful hanging plants from their very high ceilings. Beautiful stag horn ferns!

Great place, the owners are very nice and accommodating. Food was great. Bread sticks and cheese dip was hard to walk away from. The potato cheese soup was fantabulous. Great views with very nicely appointed decorations.

This will become a staple for me when I come visit my daughter at nmu.

Family and I stopped in for lunch. It is a charming place filled with history and intrigue. The food was delicious and service was average. Windows overlook Lake Superior and parts of the old town. If you're in town and looking for a place to grab a bite, I'd recommend this one!

Great food. Glad I researched it before the Great Road Trip. We stopped for lunch driving from Grand Marais to Eagle River, and I was told my planning was perfect. If driving through Marquette, which one must do to get from anywhere to anywhere (this is the UP) the Vierling is a perfect place to stop, eat, and of course try the local beer.

Great food. Nice atmosphere. Can't go wrong with the parmesan chicken here; very generous portion! House mixed drinks are also fantastic. Be sure to give this ace a try when you're in Marquette!

Cozy ambience and decent food. If you can get a window seat, you'll love the view. The beer is okay at best (considering the other local breweries), but it's the only brewpub with an actual kitchen and the real estate is prime.

We come here every time we're in town. Love the food, love the beer (Where's my bike!). They had a great special the day we were here, 2 pints and any large pizza on menu for $15 and the pizza was scrumptious! I'd be here all the time if I lived in Marquette!

Great onion soup. Green beans were tasteless. Rice tasteless & boring. Whitefish a #4 in taste but #1 in portion. Great linguine & drinks.

Delicious white fish and excellent house brewed craft beers. Especially liked the Blueberry Wheat.

We had dinner here on a Monday night. I had made reservations that morning, which was a good thing as the restaurant was crowded. Initial service was prompt and overall our waitress was excellent. However, the kitchen must have been backed up as it took 45 minutes for our entrees to come, including my daughter's child's meal which should have come shortly after our salads. The whitefish was very good and worth the wait. The green beans, on the other hand, were tough and unappetizing. Averaging this all out comes to a 4.
