Ordered fancy lamb (korma), peshwari nanboth delicious and plenty of food for the price. Greeter could be more animatedwaiter was friendly with a good sense of humor

Rude people and on top of that racist. they posted a hiring spot on indeed and told me I was hired. The mother of the owner didn't even shake my hand and rudely turned her face. Told me to work the same day of the interview with nice clothes. Refused to tell me salary and did not even set up a schedule for me to work. They only hired me for a day and through me out like a dog. They told me they would call me next week. survey interview like their son said. Yeah right. Don't waste your money on disgusting smelly food here.

The service here was like no other, upon walking in I was greeted by a finely dressed gentleman and promptly assisted. I had never been here for Indian food before but they graciously helped me and in under 15 minutes my large order was ready. Recommend for fast service, great food, and especially group outings.

Very impressed by the kind staff and amazing food. I was visiting Ocala for a weekend with my girlfriend so we decided to try restaurant. We were seated immediately and given water right away. After we placed our order it was at our table before we knew it. It was very delicious and we ordered more half way through.
This restaurant is very vegetarian and vegan friendly. We are vegan and had many choices, which is not very common. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone they enjoys authentic Indian food.response / report this review -

I walked in to Amrit Palace today and was greeted by the nicest people! I ordered something to go and waited only about 10 minutes until my order was ready, which was SO FAST! I couldn't wait to go home and try it. The food was AMAZING! I could have cried.
I am SO happy I found an incredible Indian restaurant in Ocala and I'll definitely be going back for more and recommending this place to everyone I know!!!response / report this review -

It's the worst behavior that I have never seen from the one who is welcoming the new customers to the restaurant.
I have had a bad welcoming and strongly racism situation of an Indian employee who has met us at the cashier desk.
Unfortunately, after long trip by car due to Irma hurricane, I decided to stop with my family at Ocala in order to find an Indian restaurant and to have the lunch meal. So, we found that restaurant which was working at the evening time around 04:45 P.M. After we arrived and get in the restaurant, a bad guy who has met us asked whether we are four people, or not, even thought he has seen that we are four people. Therefore, he said "follow me and he has not ever say any kind word as the kindly people at the respectful restaurant staff do. Although we have followed him to the table that he chose it for us, he has thrown the food menu on the table and left us behind him with no any attention. It's really a ridiculous behavior of a racism man.
Thus, actually what I did. I decided to leave the restaurant as soon as possible because those kind of people I must not pay for them even a penny unless they learn how to welcome the people before they sell their food. Respecting people is the best and worth way in order to earn the hearts of people through the successful business.response / report this review -

Excellent service, lovely decor, best Indian food in FL and easy to get off & on 75 if you are traveling. The prices were moderate. Order the vegetable samosa chat. It was not what I expected, but both of us cleaned the plate. Oh, the tandoori chicken is very moist, but they do serve it with a side of curry. , if you like to dip.

Love this place. The food is always good and we have brought multiple people here from out of town just as an excuse to come back. Everyone loves it. Great especially if you like really spicy food, ask for "Indian hot" and you'll get it!

Seriously, seriously amazing. Hands down my favorite restaurant in Ocala! The service is always amazing, the staff is so polite and attentive to your table and the cuisine is decadent. Definitely recommend Amrit Palace, it's cozy and they have a great selection of beer and wine to compliment the spicy Indian cuisine. Great place for a date night and you never have to worry about breaking the bank.

The very best! Exactly what you would like to experience coming an Indian place. The food was fresh, with great aroma, excellent service, friendly and knowledgeable staff. The curry was presented fantastically. Thank you.
Edit: a month later, impossible to get a call in to place an orderrude and unhelpful. If I can slpend 45$ for two at your place, you owe me hospitality. Avoid, place doesn't deliverbe prepared for a huge bill for no reason.response / report this review
