Good theater with good popcorn, but they took away Cheerwine. We're still pretty sore about that.
They also serve beer now which makes for a fun evening.

Movies are great here and the seats are the best (especially in the back). The screens are high quality viewing. But the prices are pricey.

I enjoy going to this theater. The staff is usually very helpful and the facility is usually well taken care of. The only thing that I would like to see is that they come down a little bit on the concession prices.

*Update* They do have beer and wine options! So my rating is now reflective of this. The staff is friendly. The location is great for food and shopping while waiting on your movie.

A few buddies and I usually go see a movie three or four times a month here. I love the seats, the staff is always adequate, and it's a comfortable and familiar setting. If you go in expecting to watch a movie and grab some snacks, Southeast Cinemas does exactly that. It seems like some people are wanting a 5 star restaurant experience with dollar store prices. I always get what I pay for.

This is a nice theater. However, no-one should have to sit through a movie listening to small children, 3 year old age, talk to their parents. These children couldn't even comprehend the movie. It's bad enough that some people don't have the common sense and decency to just stay home or get a sitter, but I also blame the theater for letting small children in after a certain hour. My wife and I went to a 9:50 showing tonight. The theater should have rules to prevent such from occurring. This same thing happened last time we were here. As we left, my wife stated that this is why we don't waste our money on going to the movies anymore. We paid a sitter, btw, so we could have a date by ourselves.

My son and I went here last night to see the 9:15 showing of Guardians of the Galaxy 2. I paid over $30 &all we got was one medium popcorn with no refills and one $5 refillable drink. Ridiculous. A single bottle of water is nearly $4 here. Plus the popcorn was very stale. But the thing that really upset me is, when I came out to get a refill on the $5 drink, the whole place was empty. Not one single soul in sight. The concession stand was dark and shut down &I literally walked around everywhere for 5 minutes trying to find an employee. I even looked around outside. It was straight ghost town. There were still movies playing and customers still in the building, but it looked as if all employees just abandoned the place. I only paid the $5 for a silly drink so I could get the refills, yet I couldnt get a single one, everything was shut down &everyone had just left! No way I would've paid $5 for a drink if I had known this would happen. I would've gotten the smaller cheaper drink with no refills. The girl that had served us should've told me I wouldnt be able to get the refills I was paying for &she should've told me to just get a cheaper cup. She had to of known she planned to shut the concession stand down before our movie was set to end. What if I had paid $10 to get the refillable popcorn? I would've wasted my hard earned money on that as well because I wouldn't of been able to get a refill. So glad I only got the smaller popcorn &saved my money. Its the principal behind it. Not to mention, with all the employees disappearing like that, leaving customers alone inside, anyone could've stolen anything or vandalized property. Very unprofessional. I wont be going back. Complete rip-off prices and bad service. And I have called and called and nobody has ever answered the phone, it just rings &rings, the automated response doesnt even answer to list the movie showings. This place is ran by uncaring teenagers & I'd rather go elsewhere. Still cant believe I paid $5 for a drink that I couldnt even get refilled like I was supposed to. Pfftt.. P.s when I walked around outside, although there wasnt an employee in sight, there was a side door propped &left open that led inside to areas only employees are supposed to go. Out in the parking lot there were rambunctious teenage boys goofing off (I assume customers) and they, or anyone else could've just easily walked through that propped open door &went straight inside &robbed the place blind. The front doors to the front entrance locked from the outside once we walked outta the building, but that door that was left propped open on the side of the building could've been used by anyone. Very unprofessional and very dangerous for your business. I nearly walked through it to find an employee to refill my drink, but I realized it led to an employee only area so I didnt. But other people may not of been as respectful. Employees here need to take their job more seriously.

It's a pretty okay theater, maybe time for an upgrade on seats though. Popcorn prices aren't to bad either.

I go there at least once a week or two weeks, I have always thought a great theater experience, but now also under new management they are slowly but surely replacing the seats that have been there from the start with bigger more comfortable leather seats that have a reclining feature. The arm rest are wider and extremely more comfortable, get there early to get one of those seats , especially with big movie attractions. Also people who complain that it's too loud need to just not go to the movies, it is supposed to be loud, why else go to a theater to watch a movie , also theaters do not make that much off of the movie per say so they have to charge a higher price for food and drink items, if you don't like it don't go. The only thing I would ask the owners is that maybe for people like me who come and spend my money there is that maybe there is a special club to join for movie goers that love films, or a movie punch card, as such for frequent visitors that they may get a free movie for being loyal to your theater, just a thought. I am a business major , so thinking of ideas that would get more people coming and to keep coming back. Let me know what you think? Would like some feedback, since I hold your establishment in such high regard.
