Carolyn is very friendly and helpful, she truly cares about providing customers with a quality and memorable experience.
So much fun!! Lots of activities for kids of all ages
This was a fun place to visit; plenty of things for kids to do and my daughter loved it. My only complaint is that you have to pay an entry fee AND pay for most of the "attractions." I would rather pay a bit more to get in and not have to worry about paying for a train ride.
The perfect place to take the kids in the fall! My kids are 6 and 8, they always have loved coming here and we always have a great experience creating great family memories. Staff is always very professional, courteous, and seem like they truly care about peoples experience and enjoy their job. Love this place!
We went fairly late in the season (Oct. 23), but even so, it could have been much better.
Everything was pretty cheesy and cheap. The pumpkin patch was almost completely destroyed and even the preselected pumpkins we bought molded in two days. Everything was expensive. Especially the food.
There are many pumpkin patches around KC. Pick a different one.
Such a fun day. There are lots of activities. The new carousel is a great addition. All the different animals are always fun. Of course, the food is EVERYTHING. Pumpkin doughnuts, kettle corn and FUDGE are a must. There is so much for the kids to do hands on. Best pumpkin patch by far!
I absolutely love this place. My parents brought me here every year when I was younger and now I'm bringing my baby. I'm definitely keeping this tradition.
--THE COMPREHENSIVE REVIEW--
I loved this place. The price was great. It's perfect for families with young children. PLENTY of photo opportunities. Their pumpkin donuts are worth the trip alone. The water was unacceptably high at $3/bottle though.
I'll touch on some others' comments here, and have plenty of photos.
I went during Fall, so this was my pumpkin patch family trip for the season. On a weekend, we paid ~$13/person. That included a carousel ride for each person, and they even tossed in an extra for us/our
Year upon year we keep coming back. I recommend highly for very young children. If it is a place close or traveled often, I recommend the family pass. Your experience here will depend on the day you visit. Saturday's are usually crowded, but they offer more events on Saturdays. Each year they add something or fix something. Prices for one day can be extremely expensive. Sometimes you can get a renaissance festival discount with a purchase. Look ahead and plan. We have enjoyed the barn. The slides, the kid corn maize, meeting the pumpkin princess. Fresh pumpkin doughnuts. It's a wonderland for children, but especially little ones.
I love this place! The pumpkin donuts are amazing and the activities they have for the little ones are great. I do wish they wouldn't charge you for the pumpkin since we already have to pay a pretty good amount to get in but we do enjoy the whole experience here.
Love this place! Great hours, staff and attractions. You get to do and see a lot for $12. Plus their admission with military ID was $6! Will defiantly make this our pumpkin patch as my son grows up.
(Only critic: it took a while for the pig races to start. MC was talking a lot. Kids were getting impatient. Also maybe double stairs to get in and out of the corn pit would be helpful)
**also for everyone complaining about rides costing a dollar or the food is too expensive or the pumpkins are overpriced. News flash. If you're trying to save money feed your family before you go! Learn to tell your kids NO of you can't spare a dollar or two for the rides. Also tell your kids, "when we go to the grocery store tonight for dinner we will get our pumpkins there." Yes, entertaining a large family is expensive, but if you're smart then you work the pumpkin patch, pumpkins and Halloween costumes into the monthly budget!
Also: for everyone saying, "what does the $12 pay for? It's so expensive to get in!" Well let's see. Employees need to be paid, electricity needs to be on, grass needs to be cut, gas for the tractors
A great family day. Lots of fun activities and such. Some others complain about that the entrance fee doesn't cover everything, but it is like every entertainment farm I've ever visited. A few things extra but the fun is all there! We were happy to go and the rate was appropriate for our family. Helpful staff, yummy food, cute activities. We loved feeding the animals! The pumpkin patch doesn't have many pumpkins that grew and are on the vine. But my kids were happy to find pumpkins in the patch after the tractor ride ! We will be back again!
Review is for Liberty Corn Maze, next door. (Pumpkin Patch is excellent also) Hubby and I went for the first time this year to the corn maze, and had a great time. We did one of the shorter mazes because we were unsure of our skill level, and we pleasantly surprised ourselves. We had a great time. This would be so much fun for a group of friends or as a team building exercise for coworkers. Great play area for little ones, cold beers for older ones. Will definitely return!
Love, it was so fun for my son! We had a blast last year! I know we will be coming back this year! Cute little train ride. A great size pumpkin patch with good pumpkins! gift/fudge shop was super nice to! Kid play grounds are super fun with the little goats we fed! I recommend this to other people
