Wonderful museum with a ton of information about the short history of the Pony Express. I felt like I was really entering into the experience of how profound the Express was to our history.

Always one of my favorite museums in St. Joe. Glad my kids got to see it. It is a small period of history but important. Take the kids!

Wonderful little museum, rich with the short 18 month history of the pony express. Lots of interactive things for children! Spent about 1 1/2 hours there. Loved it! We asked gift shop attendant for places to eat in St.Joe and she gave us $5 coupon for a delicious restaurant with homemade everything!

Wonderful little place to take the family for a historical little treat. Last time I was here in 2011. They've added a lot more since then to tell you about the history of the Pony Express. You can donate items as well, if it's tied to the Pony Express, and they'll look up the history, if they can find it.

Much more then we expected! Loved it! VERY reasonable price too. Fun for the whole family as well as educational. Our Kids are 10 year old boy, 13 year old girl; we all had fun.

Great piece of history tucked away locally. We learned quite a bit and the kids enjoyed it too. No real horses to their dismay but they got a kick out of the 1800s style play area with costumes. I enjoyed reading about the riders and seeing some of the artifacts. The working well was a surprise as well.

The Pony Express Museum holds a nice variety of difference things. There are Hands-On activities for children and Hands-On informational stations. There was a whole place for children to play which was really nice as I have five children.

Small cozy museum with just enough history about the Pony Express to keep kids interested for an hour. Park across the street made for a nice stop after a long drive. Nice mural depicting the route and challenges face by the service and their riders. Small entrance fee and worth a visit if in the area.

There's really only 2 Pony Express Museums, and this one is most easily accessible for it's location. The other is in KS.
Spend an hour here and learn the short-lived importance of this delivery service in American history.

Wow! Lots of info! Really cool. My kids loved it. They got to pump water from the original well and play with toys that were popular in the pony express days. Pretty cheap for 6 of us too!

Bigger museum than I imagined. Great little play area for our little ones. Nice place to visit while driving through St. Joe.
