Ate here yesterday and back again already today. Yes, it's that good! The coffee is the best we've had and I'm not sure how much I drank because the server kept it full at all times.
The chicken fried steak breakfast was even better than the bacon and eggs I had yesterday. It came with eggs, hash browns and biscuits and gravy for under $10.
I give give it 5 stars (because that was the highest it would allow me to rate it.) If you ever find yourself in or near Midlothian TX in the morning, be sure to try it out for yourself!response / report this review -

The service and food were good. Despite being in a strip mall, the atmosphere was nice and friendly. Prices are right and I noticed that I got 4 strips of bacon when other diners just give three!

Slow service, no hash browns, never got my toast. Hopefully this was just a bad morning. They did try to make it right by cutting our bill down which is why I gave a 2 star instead of a 1 star

Visiting from Seattle, daughter suggested this restaurant for breakfast. Had 4 adults 4 kids and a 8 month old in our party. We were seated quickly and under a fan for me (Not a lover of 95plus degrees for a week) Wait staff was pleasant and fairly speedy. Our food arrived in a timely manner and all about the same time so that we were all eating at the same time. Everyone enjoyed the food, wife said her veggie omelette was best she has ever had, my corn beef hash was very good. Great family style atmosphere with plenty of room around the table. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Great friendly staff, food is good, love the atmosphere. It's not a 5 star restaurant or anything but the people and great and it has a very country down home feel.

I visited Caroline's for the first time last weekend. My experience could not have been any better. The cafe is popular, but they were able to seat us quickly, even though we had a larger group. The chicken fried steak was excellent. All the staff were so sweet to us, including our little ones. I will definitely be back.

We just moved to Midlothian and we are on the search for a good breakfast spot. Caroline's is a keeper! I love the homey feel when you walk in. The service was great. The servers talked to their regulars like they were family and were super friendly to us. The food was great! THE BISCUITS ARE AMAZING. A+
