This was the first and last time I will use this rental agency. The pictures on the website are very misleading. The cabin we rented looked much bigger on their website than in actual view. The kitchen was big enough for only one person, not exaggerating either. The den was very very small and the two couches that were in there both had broken springs in several areas. The TV was so small, you had to almost squint to see it. It gets better. We had a family of eleven that weekend and three of them were small children. When we first arrived, there were ladybugs everywhere and I mean everywhere. There were dead ones all over the floors both upper and lower. There were live ones flying all around us as we tried to eat and sleep. The kids were afraid of them. After sweeping up the ladybugs several times, the kids came up from the lower floor and said there was water everywhere. We went down to check it out and there was water coming from the bathroom toilet with brown "stuff" coming up through the tub as well. The water had leaked to the playroom area as well as under the baseboards into the bedroom where I had my clothes laying. Needless to say they sent out a maintenance man three hours later and he just put out a fan to dry up the water. So now we couldn't use this bathroom at all. After this happened, the lady at the office said she would just refund our cleaning fee, which wasn't much to begin with and give us a discount for another stay later in a different cabin if we would come back. I called them back after I got some dates together to try them again and to my surprise, they offered no discount. Very poor customer service! I would suggest using Carolina Morning or Greybeard Cabin rentals. We only used this rental agency because we took the kids to the Polar Express.

Very Disappointed in recent Cabin visit to “A River Paradise”. The WIFI isn’t available for the guest. We found out upon arrival after we specifically requested to be in any cabin we rented. (The owners had Wifi there named “TROUT HQ”, but don't want their guest to use). In addition, smoke detector malfunctioned causing chiming at the midnight hour, maintenance did come and fix, television not working properly until called Dish TV, Propane nonexistent for a Gas Fire and Grill, Motorcycle accessible on a LONG Dirt Road. When checking out, I was asked about my stay and very nicely expressed my disappointment, I was told the GM would call me. During our conversation, she said the NO Wifi was listed on their website (It's Not, in fact, there is nothing about Wifi) so my lesson to share is you better ask LOTS of questions AND check their website because it will get blamed on that. 2 nights for $850 high price, McDonalds 10 minutes has Free Wifi.

Enjoy the get away to the mountains,,always ..have used their service multiple times .. high everyone at the office ..this is jeff ,,,the power li.e worker.. just recommened you guys to some people in Marshville ,that were actually tired of hotel the great thing about car.mnt vacations ,,is you offer a discount on repeat stays ,,not sure about the referals ??

Folks the pictures they show you cant describe your cabin when you get there..
Ask olenty of questions and they will tell u some of the small extras you may wanna bring

We also went to Pigeon Forge a few months back ,,they offer NO REPEAT discount ..and the cabin we had was great,, however the carolina mountain vacation has there staff topped .. they have secluded cabins ,to Fontana Lake cabins ,,just ask ,they will get you a home away from home

Also on the short trips ,its best to take the extra day ,because your not gonna wa t to leave

Booked a cabin with them in 2014. The cabin was nice and on the lake. Very nice setting seen a couple Eagles. Staff was friendly but cold. I found the town to be a little that way not real friendly. Maybe I was there at a bad time! I would use them again if I ever stayed on that side of the Smokies and wanted a cabin. Thanks

Absolutely gorgeous!!!! The staff was extremely helpful, they even made the attraction reservations for us, also assisted with directions! My husband and children including myself were not stressed with of the normal vacation stresses!! Will be going back. Every year!!!!
