I don't like it because after 6:00 they don't allow kids under 6 years old to come in and that means that my little sister that's 2 years old won't be able to go so we always have to leave her with a baby sitter and baby sitters are very expensive. #imisscarmike #noonelikesamc #babylivesmatter

Used to come here all the time. But now that it's been bought out by AMC it has gone down hill fast. It seems that this "theater chain" is more concerned with transforming itself into a restaurant than becoming a better movie theater. It's not near as busy as it used to be, even if they have a popular movie. Even the staff looks discontent and most of the ones I'm used to seeing disappeared shortly after it switched to AMC. They're still friendly and smiling but you can just tell that they are not happy.

I was also told by a staff about the under 21 rated R policy and they are getting rid of the bucket and that Tuesday deals are going away unless you buy that $15 membership. It's like they want to shoo away everyone who actually wants to see a movie. I wouldn't be surprised if I come back one day and tables and menus in the lobby and have all the theaters turned into storage. It sounds like a joke but it really looks like they are trying to become a movie theater themed restaurant.

I'm speaking for a lot of people when I say you have lost our business forever.

Went to watch the new IT movie Saturday night. The place was clean, staff friendly, good experience with the theater but there was a girl and some guys she was with who kept making it hard for me to watch. The girl would scream at every little jump scare which gave me a headache half way through and then the guys she was with wouldn't shut up whispering. I know people pay their money like I do but plz be curtious and shut up. Your not the only people trying to enjoy the movie. And if a movie like IT scares you plz stay home and just rent it off Nexfilx or Hulu, dont ruin it for other people who dish out $60 to hear you scream all evening.

These freaking rude ass workers didn't understand that me and my friends are not 18 but we are not 12 either. We weren't allowed to watch a rated r movie because my boyfriend that is 18 wasn't allowed to buy the movie tickets for us. I'm very outraged because I had been waiting to watch that movie for 2 weeks now and I was so excited to be able to see it and they really decide they don't want to let us watch it. Y'all all suck, I miss carmike.

Concessions closed before the movie was over. Employees really didn't care that I was upset. I feel as if they took my money knowing I would be out of luck getting anymore the drink machine was even turned off. The only employee that even bothered to listen finally had the machine turned back on. DO NOT GO TO A LATE SHOWING OF ANYTHING AND PURCHASE CONCESSIONS. 😡

The only issue I have is the concessions are more expensive than the movie. I like the theaters ambiance. It has clean restrooms (ladies) and is generally well maintained facilities. However when you bring kids they want the concessions especially since the advertising using smell and sound encourages. Can't go often due to the expense.

Could use more arcade games and other things in that genre to improve and make it more fun besides just going to the movies.
The one I went to in Arizona had a photo booth and a babysitting room for kids when parents want a night and have no baby sitter ! I loved it!!!!

I have to admit, this is a very nice theatre. However, the concessions are overpriced, to say the least, but the buttered popcorn is always tasty. The only saving grace they have for poor people is Stimulus Tuesday where popcorn and drinks are only $2 each. I recommend that low income individuals go on Tuesday if they want to see a movie with their kids and not spend a cool $100. Sorry, no movie is worth dropping that kind of money on. For anyone who doesn't care to exercise their sense of adventure, you can load up the family and head to the Swan Drive In in Blue Ridge, Ga. Even after spending the money for gas you will still come out way under the bank required for a trip to Carmike. Additionally, on Friday and Saturday you will get to see two new feature films for the price of one. Just something to think about.
