Clean comfortable very affordable rooms Worth every penny we spent. The staff was very friendly Breakfast was good. Poster stores and shopping I would recommend this place to anyone

I always have a great experience staying here. The rooms are always clean and the breakfast in the morning is awesome. They have a shuttle too! Will be back 11/4 with work and I know there will be no disappointments.

We stayed here for one night because we had an early flight from Midway, we took advantage of their airport shuttle and left our car there as well. We had a great experience with it all! When we got back, our car was waiting for us right by the office with some cookies and bottles of water inside. Great customer service, if we ever fly out of Midway again, we will FOR SURE stay and park here again.

The room was clean and spacious. There was a microwave, fridge, and a table to eat at. Free parking in the middle of Chicago was the main reason we chose this hotel, and I'm glad I did. It's only a couple blocks away from a metro stop. Planes do fly right over it, as it's near the airport. I didn't notice any noise from the planes while inside my room. I'd definitely stay here again.

We checked into the hotel 9/13/17 for an overnight stay before our early flight to the Dominican Republic. The room was clean and spacious and the staff friendly. The next morning we left our car and they shuttled us right to our gate. Here's where it gets tricky, we were due to return 9/21, but hurricane Maria detained us until 9/24. When we realized we were not going to be back on our original date, our daughter called the hotel, and they said no problem. When we got back to the states 9/24, we called The Clayton Inn, they sent a very nice man to pick us up. Upon arriving back at the hotel, they had washed our car, had it running for us with the AC on, 2 bottles of water in the front seat, and he offered us chocolate chip cookies for the ride home. They aren't a big chain hotel, and it shows, because sometimes the little things matter. They have earned customers for life, and we will tell all of our friends and travel agent. Well done!

This quiet hotel seems so unassuming from the outside, but is really quite darling with rustic charm and the people who take care of it clearly put an amazing amount of love and attention into the details. From the delicious free breakfast, to the cozy, clean, and very well-appointed rooms (including fridge, microwave, cable TV), to the attentive and friendly staff, my husband and I were delighted to stay at this hotel and our only regret was that it was for just one night. We will definitely come back here next time we are flying in or out of Midway!

My family and I recently stayed at the Carlton Inn Midway. The location isn't super close to downtown, but if you are willing to carve out some time to drive or take public transportation, it is reasonably accessible. It is a basic accommodation but has the necessities: shampoo, towels, and warm blankets. The room also has a TV with lots of channels, a microwave, and ample fridge room. They even offer free continental breakfast in the main lobby. Above all else, it is clean. If you are looking for a budget-friendly place to stay, this is the place for you.

We were staying in town for one night so I loved how the hotel is minutes away from Midway Airport. Check in was fast and easy, staff was great, rooms were spacious yet cozy and there was plenty of parking. The day after we checked out we realized we had left a very important item at a nearby business near the hotel (about 5 min away). At this point we are hundreds of miles away at our next destination in Nebraska and there is no way of getting back to Chicago. My first thought is that I know we won't be able to get it back and the rest of our trip will be ruined. To please my curiosity I called the hotel to see if there was any way that they could help us out even though we were no longer checked in guests. To my surprise, not only did they go and pick up the item from the local business they ALSO offered to mail it overnight to us in Nebraska!!! I was impressed by the lengths they went to in order to help us and I can't thank them enough. As promised, the item was in our hands the next morning. Now that's commitment to customer service! Carlton Inn Midway, you have gained a guest for life and you will always be my first recommendation to my family and friends.

The staff was very friendly, the rooms were clean and well maintained. We had our car there while we traveled for 10 days. They came to pick us up at the airport in a clean van and the driver very friendly. Our vehicle was warm and started for us with cookies and bottles of water for each person waiting in the van. I will be staying here again in the future. I highly recommend this to all.

Stayed here with some friends when we came up to go skydiving. Perfect little hotel that is located near the subway and offered a free shuttle to and from the stop,no matter what time (they picked us up at 2 in the morning no problem). The rooms are great and the price is awesome. We had 4 college students and got a 2 bed room and it was big enough for us. The free breakfast was filling and delousious.

The service was excellent, rooms were clean and recently remodeled. They brought a crib for my son, and it was great. The park and shuttle to the airport is super helpful. Will definitely be back.

Clean remodeled rooms. Stayed as a park and fly, prompt shuttle service to and from airport. Car ready and warmed up when we got back. Nice continental breakfast. All services were wonderful and friendly.

My husband and I stayed here for one night before we few out early the next morning. When we checked in we were greeted with a smile. The staff was exceptional. We scheduled a wake-up call for the next morning for 3am along with making arrangements for transportation to Midway airport for 3:30am. This was all handled very well. We asked what time the continental breakfast started, we were informed that it ran from 6am to 9am, but was informed that we could ask the morning staff for some snacks and coffee. Well when we came down the next morning we were greeted once again with a smile, along with the driver of the van who proceed to take our bags and put them in the van and told to go ahead and go inside the lobby where we were greeted with some muffins bagels donuts juice and coffee. Our van driver in the early morning was very pleasant. Got us to Midway in no time. We were told to call the number on the business card we were given when we arrived back from our trip after we had our bags collected. So as soon as we had our bags we we called and about 10 minutes later the van was their to pick us up and take us back to Carlton Inn for our car. This was one of the best experiences we have ever had. I highly recommend Carlton Inn. We will be staying there again the next time we travel.
