  They offer $400 over the counter products every quarter, it's attractive to many retired people with a short budget, but after you order them, they say that they don't have it anymore. You have to order again something diferent. It happens over and over again, and most of the time nasty customer service.
  My suggestions look another insurance, this insurance is among the worst.

  This insurance denied a medicine that my mom's doctor prescribed and they make the doctor send another one that had my mom's lips swallowed for days. This insurance became people's worth enemy and nightmare!!!

  Things started off shaky because I had a bad primary doctor. I had massive injuries and serious problems and she just made everything worse. I quit her and went back to a doctor that I had been to before and finally found he was taking Care Plus. His staff is amazing. When the staff knows what they're doing regarding the paperwork, getting what you need from Care Plus is pretty simple. Understanding how important the staff are and the difficulties that they have to deal with, goes a long way in getting good treatment. It's been about a year and a half and so far so good. If you treat everyone in this process like the important people that they are, that will go a long way towards you getting what you need. If you're going to be rude or demanding or entitled, it's very easy for them to make your life difficult. I know you're sick, but that's no excuse.

  If I could leave less than one star, I would. They caused a 90-year-old woman with dementia to leave rehab, then failed to provide promised in-home services.
  
  My MIL has CarePlus in Florida. She was released from rehab on Thursday. Someone from CarePlus was supposed to be there on Friday to set up in-home services for her. No one showed up. As a result, she sat in her own feces all weekend while we frantically tried unsuccessfully to find out-of-pocket help. (My husband is with her, but he recently had surgery and cannot lift more than 5 lbs.) Even on Monday, once CarePlus actually answered the phone, they have so far done NOTHING. They have left us no choice but to call 911 and force the already-overworked and overcrowded ER to do their job for them. Run away. This is criminal.

  It is my belief that Care Plus is the "WORST" healthcare insurance available for seniors. Their lack of dignity and response for seniors borders on criminal. If anyone, even my worst enemy, were to ask for my suggestion on whether to become a member of Care Plus medical plans, my answer in a word "NEVER" unless you enjoy being lied to or repeatedly ignored.
  After months of doctor visits, exams, paper work, phone calls, texts, and, my valuable time I was approved for eye surgery to correct my vision problem. Two days before my scheduled surgery, I received a confirmation from the Aran Eye Associates clinic. My surgery was scheduled for 7:30 AM on August 11, 2021. I was excited to finally have vision corrected.
  I prearranged my own transportation to and from the clinic and arrived at 7 AM. It was this time that I was told by the clinic staff that my surgery was "CANCELLED". I could not believe this was happening. To make matters worse, when I asked for a reason of the cancellation the staff simply said "it was not approved". I then asked who disapproved the surgery but they were essentially clueless. Needless to say I was extremely upset by the indifference of the clinic staff and my healthcare provider Care Plus.
  I immediately followed up with Care Plus to get an explanation for the cancellation. I am infuriated to say that 3 weeks later and their BS response is that they are investigating. Care Plus has never bothered to call me or even return phone calls. This shows terrible customer service.
  The negligence on their part leaves me no other option. I am sharing my story on the mistreatment by Care Plus of this senior citizen on this social media and other media outlets. Senior citizens beware of Care Plus this could happen to you.
