The main menu is tasty with good variety. Their service is excellent. They are quick and friendly when addressing any issue. The only down side was a less than inspiring desert menu. Overall we enjoy Cappy's and will return.

Our favorite restaurant in San Antonio. However, service tonight was slowest and least attentive ever. Food was wonderful as always. Waiter said I could not substitute a side on the most expensive menu item, asserting that the dish had to be composed in a certain way. Has never happened to us before at Cappys. Of course we will return.

My mother and I were hungry and needed a break from moving to a new home. I mention this because since we WERE doing that and going to eat and get back to work we were in comfortable workout clothes. Hair in our buns.
Don’t know if that was why but I was excited to try a new place and take her to this restaurant since it sounded so pleasant.
We weren’t greeted and ended up just picking a table which I think is what we were supposed to do either way but we sat at the table having questions, without a drink, and finally ready to order and still no one had come to our table. 3 servers went by us but still no one ever said they would be right with us or even greeted our table.
    This was very disappointing.
We ended up walking out after waiting. Expected a lot more from the description on your website.
    Very cute place though.

Awesome place. Been here twice with my girlfriend and have had great service and food each time. Great place to have a nice "special occasion" dinner without breaking the bank.

Went for brunch on a weekend. They were a little crowded. I really liked the atmosphere as soon as we parked. There's a little courtyard to eat outside, but it was full. We ate inside upstairs, which was also very nice. Local art on display. Really good food, nice linens, waitstaff professional and on a higher standard than most casual restaurants. I look forward to going back.

We love this place! Definitely a go to restaurant for all things brunch, lunch and dinner. I had their pork special last night and it was amazing! Our server was a tad slow with drinks at the beginning, but was great overall. I highly recommend this place if you're in the area!

Great for brunch for the most part. Coffee is great and from a local roaster which I am a big fan of. The eggs in brunch dishes are too rich for me and I found out recently it is because they add liquid cheese into them. Dinner is typically quite good and the service is almost always exceptional. Great place to go if you want familiarity, etc. Kind of place generations of families go. Great locally owned business!

Came here based on Google Reviews. Nice contemporary renovations around an older brick building. Large wine selection with regional beer on tap as well. My wife had the lamb chops and I had tenderloin, but we also saw a large number of people eating the mussels and they looked amazing. Daily featured and one of the best put together we've seen in ages!

Great food and atmosphere. Waitress was amazing. I went bc of the description and menu prices posted online. It was much more upscale then presented and only low price items are posted. It was good but deceiving. Really need to post the full menu. Its not a place for children but there was a family there. Not sure what the children ate. Its a great place to go on a date.

Amazing brunch, succulent seafood and very good gumbo. Service was the only bland thing in this place. I would come back just because the food is by far the best brunch in town.

More a 4.5 but system only allows you to block 4 or 5 stars. Went with spouse for Sunday brunch. Made reservations for 10:30 and was happy I did. The place filled up quickly around 11:00. Somewhat of a rustic ambiance on the top floor which was very relaxing. Started out with freshly baked mini muffins (excellent). Ordered the Gulf Shrimp omelet with Avocado and poblano cream and the Sunday breakfast with beef tenderloin and pancakes. The service was very professional.
