I never write reviews, I believe in letting businesses have a pass as we all have bad days. This dental office is the exception. I have insurance, and my cleaning was covered, I can’t figure out if they intentionally incorrectly filed my claim, for a year, because they had fallen out of network with my insurance company and didn’t want to tell me, or are just so unorganized that they missed the filing deadline.
But this office is awful. I have never encountered such a low level of customer service with any healthcare provider. They were insulting and when I would call in to share information I had gathered myself they would hang up on me, never call me back, and never follow up with emails as they had promised. Don’t go here it will cause you heart ache long after your teeth are clean.

In response to your denial that I haven’t been a patient if that were true then why would you threaten to send me to collections if I didn’t send a check to your address. This is what I’m talking about zero accountability for any of your mistakes with filing my claim or how you handle things after the fact. If someone from your office called me back or showed any empathy at all I would have been happy to not leave a review.

This office is amazing! They are very professional their staff is very kind and helpful.The office is very nice and clean. Every time I spoke with Johnny he was very pleasant and very helpful, and always had a solution to my problems. .I highly recommend this dental office to anyone!

Was my first visit to this dentist, they were very helpful and made sure i understood everything that was going on, And helped me understand all the charges. I could tell the dentist and dental assistant cared if they were hurting me or not, And just wanted to make sure they took care of me in one day. Would recommend to anyone needing a good dentist in the Sandy area.

Visited Canyon Family Dental for my teeth cleaning and periodic dental checkup today. It was my first time at this facility. My hygienist Vanja who came over with me from Alta Canyon Dental was wonderful and thorough as always. Her assistant Brynley was competent, friendly and kept me informed of everything she was doing. The facilities and equipment are state of the art. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this practice.

My visit started with X-rays and polishing by the assistant. I’m not accustomed to an assistant doing a polish and flossing before seeing the hygienist, I would prefer the hygienist polishes and flosses my teeth after her scaling so the tooth surfaces are left smooth. It didn’t feel like the polish did any good. The hygienist did a great job of scaling my teeth but when I left it didn’t feel finished.
