Food and drinks were great. I went for Sunday Brunch with a large group and the service was excellent. Our waitress, Jessica, gave great advice on food selection. Get the Georgia Pecan Sticky Buns 😍. You can ask for half portions if you want to try a few different dishes without feeling like a glutton

Great location for a nice meal or a classy get together. While they have a limited menu, what's on the menu is always delicious! The wait staff are super friendly and eager to help you find something you'll love. For parties, the outdoor event space is well set up and even warm in the winter! Definitely stop by and give Canoe a try.

Wife and I went there last night for our anniversary. Our server (Rick) was fantastic, he explained everything very well, he was professional and courteous. The food is outstanding, very forward thinking! I ate a beet salad, and I hate beets. If you've never been, you have to go. the location is gorgeous there along the river, we will definitely be going back when the weather gets warm.

Celebrated an anniversary here and it was not a let down! The service to the food was just amazing. We ordered desserts and they even left a message on the plates for us! Great start and great food. I will return on a casual day!

I enjoyed both the spicy kangaroo the tangy rabbit was delightful the tasty sauces was perfectly seasoned with a master chef touch. A little pricey for the portion but the ambiance was the epitome of rich class and romance making up for the difference. I'm definitely going back on my next hot date!

Very nice atmosphere with accommodations for couples or friends gathering. The food and service was impeccable. Try the kangaroo appetizer, it's very tasty. The garden is very romantic and allows private areas to sit and talk or have drinks with a river view.

Very elegant with a cozy feel. Wait staff - Michael - is amazing. Food tastes wonderful. Consumed octopus for the first time ever! Delicious! Fair warningnot sure if sodas or teas are sold here. Huge selection of wines.

Celebrated 20 years of marriage here on Sept. 05, 2017
The place was amazing in itself not to mention the great service and all out hospitality that we experienced. It began as we entered the place and continued through our departure. Our waitress was named Jessica and took superb care of the wife and I by making ordering easy, providing excellent service, taking pictures for us upon request and also making a sweet dessert just for the two of us. It's definitely an Atlanta staple, but it's time for it to be replaced. It's set in a great place, but the food really could use some upgrading. Too many good restaurants are opening for them to not revisit how their kitchen is ran. For the price, I definitely expected better. Service is great though!

The food is excellent. The drinks are very good as well. They allow you to make minor substitutions on the entree sides, which is nice if there is a side you can't eat for whatever reason. The service is impeccable as well. Our server was very knowledgeable. Best place in town for high quality game as well. The rabbit was pretty tasty. Couldn't convince my wife to share the kangaroo loin appetizer with me. ☺

Delicious food, amazing desserts, and servers are incredibly nice and helpful. We went there for our 5 year anniversary. I booked ahead on Open Table (couple weeks in advance) and mentioned it was our anniversary and asked for a nice view if possible. They called a couple days before our reservation to confirm but also said they would make a note for our server about our anniversary. Fast forward to dessert and this is what they bring out on our plates! (Check picture) So impressed by the genuine sincerity of the servers. Food was delicious also. I had an amazing pork shank! Don't be in a hurry here because everything does take a little time. But between the environment, food, and people, it was a great experience. So glad we decided to come here!

The best. Even better since the flood disaster. Our mother agreed to move here from Florida only if we took her to Canoe every year for her birthday. She's 85 and we're starting to think she's going to outlive us all! Try their lunch service, it's a relative bargain and you can fully enjoy their view of the gardens and river as you enjoy the excellent Canoe fare. Just remember to make your reservations well in advance.

One of the best dining experiences of our lives! The service and atmosphere are second to none and the food is fantastic. My fiance and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary here and they made it everything we could have hoped for and more. We will be back very soon to enjoy the food and service. Here's a tip for you The hickory smoked New York strip is worth every penny you'll pay for it. Hands down it was the best steak we'd ever eaten. Make sure to make your reservations well in advance. They are VERY popular!

We love coming here for anniversary dinners. It's a great restaurant with great staff. Our waitress, Deborah, was one of our favorites. She laughed and chatted with us, and took great care of us when I let her know about a food allergy. The food is delicious, and the menu is exotic. Also, love being able to grab drinks and sit down by the water. They have a gorgeous patio and garden.

Went for my anniversary dinner a few years back. Made a reservation for a Saturday evening. We arrived on time and we were seated promptly. We chose a table outside and the view of the river was amazing! The lawn was gorgeous! The service and food was amazing. The staff are very knowledgeable about the menu and can pair your meal with the perfect wine. I highly recommend Canoe for your next special occasion!
