I remember going to this amusement park every summer with my relatives! We had so much fun! To be honest, the major roller coasters in New Hampshire are completely different than the major roller coasters in California!!!

AMAZING PARK! they truly went all out for the haunted houses, the duration of each were long which usually all haunted houses just rush you through them so I was thrilled about that! Also super scary and amazing props!
The lines were not bad either and the park did an amazing job at decorating and entertaining you while you wait in them! Will definitely recconebd and go back

Canobie is an ideal place for families with small children. It's not too big but it's beautiful. there is a specific area for little ones, it is safe. there are shows in the theater, and musicals on the open stage in the center of the park. many benches scattered around the park, for a break., a lovely lake for a leisurely stroll. Recreation area and picnic for the family (but need to book in advance).

TRAIN RIDE STILL NOT FIXED OVER 5 YEARS LATER? A SIGN OF POOR BUSINESS AND MONEY MANAGEMENT. CAUTION
I have been to this park as a kid and as an adult but am more specifically referring to the past 5 years. Of course we all know how the prices have skyrocketed since the 80's and 90's. I was thinking of going this year to see if they fixed the train ride which is a ridiculously simple attraction there. It is a small caboose with a string of passenger cars that just takes you around the park on simple metal train tracks. It's my favorite ride because it is relaxing. It's a lot like the overhead umbrella ride except it helps more with people who are afraid of heights. My last 3 -4 trips over the span of the last 5 years, the ride was either in repair or just closed for no apparent reason. I decided to check again this year BEFORE I drove down just to see if they fixed the ride yet. My intuition was of course correct and I was told another excuse why the ride was again, not open.
It is troubling a company that makes millions of our dollars each year, can't get one of the most popular and simple rides working correctly, after 5 years, 6 including this one now.
THIS MAKES ME WONDER HOW SAFE THE REST OF THE RIDES ARE. This seems to be a very poorly managed business, money wise. I don't think I want to take my kids somewhere that doesn't put money back into their amusement park. Its makes me wonder too much, especially after hearing about so many different tragedies lately at amusement parks all of the country. It's too bad but this is just another sign of the times !

Love this place something for the whole family. Classic rides mixed with newer rides. You can't bring food in but you may eat at your car. Easy to get in and out of. Prices for food are in line with any Amusement park if not a little cheaper.

This is a wonderful place I've been coming to for many years. The staff is always friendly and helpful the shows are wonderful and vary greatly so they have something for everyone. I never leave here disappointed its always fun with new rides and events popping up all the time there's always something new to discover and enjoy. Make sure you bring an ID if you pay with a credit card I had to go all the way back to my car to get mine one day it is good they take financial security so seriously I really can't think of another place that asks for ID. My only complaint would be the rule about outside food I think it should be allowed like at some similar places. You are allowed to reenter and eat in the parking lot but there's no picnic table or shade its not ideal and dampens the experience. I wish they would rethink this policy. The park is clean they always have workers throughout the park and in the bathrooms cleaning all day.

Never again!!! This place is so oversold that we waited in line for more than an hour for each ride. They allow so many people here that there aren't even enough parking spaces so the attendants squeeze cars on the ends of the rows where there aren't even spaces. This is how my car got hit. Thankfully, my car made off with a few minor scratches and there was a nice officer from Salem's PD available to log the accident.
They do not allow you to carry in any food or drinks, so you are forced to wait in the hot sun for rides for extended periods of time resulting in you darting to the next concession stand for water at $2.99 plus tax per bottle.
We arrived at 1 pm and hoped that the crowd would eventually thin out so that the lines would not be so long. During our entire visit, we made it onto two rides. Even the designated smoking areas were overflowing into the walkways and there was a ten minute wait for the restrooms. By 6 pm, we left out of frustration much earlier than expected. This was a very large waste of money, and definitely not the wonderful amusement park that I remember it as from my childhood!

Great place. I was at the boats today with my three sisters and my nephew the worker there, Maria was very energetic. She got my baby sister to feel comfortable on the ride seeing as she was scared. She also sung my 5 year old sister happy Birthday, and it made her day. She talked about it the whole day. Over all I give this place a 5star rating. Most of the staff where kind and welcoming! Definitely coming to visit once more before the summer ends.

Excellent place, beautiful location, very scenery. Consistent great customer service through out the park. More special than any other theme park because of the history and years of operation. Highly suggested. Can't wait to come back in October for the Halloween events.

This place is a little gem. Best amusement park in the tri state (NH ME VT) area. Only outdone by Six Flags near Springfield MA, which is a 2-3 hour trek for many in the area. Absolutely cool pinball room, if you like these games, this is a sweet spot. Rides could be more modern, but the park is too small to hold big attractions. It can be budget friendly, free parking is a bonus a d after 5 rates are reasonable for a night out. It's a very well maintained park and check out the sunset over the lake!

It's okay. Family friendly which is good but like all amusement parks, it has its flaws. Don't play carnival games there (that's just common sense) cause they are obviously going to try to rip you off. All the rides are fun for kids and the rides for adults and some older kids are fun too. I've been here a couple times before and I either enjoy it or just get bored really fast. The lines can be long but it depends on how popular the ride is. The food is decent but it's all carny food so if you have a sensitive stomach I would pack my own food. All in all it's decent and not too bad but it's not something I would completely look forward to.

I just went to the park and was disappointed. The rides I drove 3 hours for were closed for the season! The Boston Tea party The mine if lost souls and the log flume were all closed! I understand the water rides being closed because of the lateness of the season I guess But it wasn't posted anywhere that this could happen! Even at the booking gate I was told that only 1 ride was closed. Ultimate Frisbee was closed. The Mine of lost souls is an indoor ride why wasn't that open? My family made a long trip for a half opened park that wasn't advertised as such. Dissatisfied and disappointed!!

Great place to take kids for a fun time in the summer! They even have fireworks sometimes.. The train around the outside is a great way to wind down from all the "fun". My only suggestion would have been to have a toddler section at the water park.

Super expensive food and drinks (its a amusement park, I get it), just bring your own and eat in their FREE parking lot. Great rides, easy to spend a day just hanging out. Love the water slide park for those really hot days. Lines are usually not to bad either. Also, they have an awesome pinball arcade in the back of the park.
