Delicious vegan and meat based meals with great cocktails and beer selections. We had the seitan Fajitas and tofu hot pot. They both had great flavor. Highly recommend Joshua’s to anyone wishing great food by friendly staff.

Stopped in for brunch while touring the town of Woodstock. Loved the atmosphere and the style of the restaurant. Very cool ceiling fans, lots of window seating, friendly and prompt staff, and delicious food. I grew up in upstate new York pretty simply, and my wife grew up in the San Diego area of California. We both found menu items that spoke to us, which doesn't always happen. I ordered eggs, home fries, awesome thick bacon and multi grain toast-delicious and flawless. My wife ordered a California bagel, which had eggs, cheese, and avocado over an everything bagel and she loved it. Had we more time we would have returned for another meal. Loved dining upstairs beside the window, casually watching the happenings in town.

Got really really bad food poisoning there yesterday. First of all food wasn't tasty at all, my lamb kebab was dry on the outside, but rare inside, even though I ordered medium-well. Didn't have time to wait for a new meal and just ate it as is. High fewer all night, vomit and mad diarrhea. Next day now and I still feel very sick. My wife had a different meal, but couldn't finish it because it was really spicy (not stated on their menu).

I always get the smorgasbord, which has nice little portions of many different things. For example, Falafel, baba ganoush, hummus, tabouli salad, Israeli salad, Etc. It is more than enough for a meal even though it is on the starters menu.

Amazing middle Eastern and Greek menu. Breakfast lunch and dinner served daily. Cuban breakfast, falafel plate, and vegan ravioli recommended. Oh and the sweet potato latkes! Food to go or special requests should be checked for accuracy! Coffee and drinks are ok.

Very disappointed by this place . Really do not like to leave bad reviews - however rarely ( fortunately ) have experiences like this .It's as close to wonderful vegetarian or any other nice establishment as Arby's to a gourmet burger place ( at least as was described by some reviews) perhaps for a first time attempt for some to try vegetarian. For the price of the entries here , might as well go to a real restaurant.
The decor is very basic and saving grace was the very dim lighting in the place. The only items that was not fried or covered in chinese sauce in appetizers was Chicken soup! Asked to have it without matzo balls and brought out with them by a waitress who was more appropriately dressed for Halloween and stated at the end of a meal that she forgot about the matzo balls and hey, you would have gotten the same amount of soup anyway- which was not the point. Highly recommend Joshua's cafe if you want to eat middle eastern food. Staff is very friendly and the food is delicious and healthy. The have a lot of veggie food options and meat options as well. Breakfast is also served in this restaurant. Nice wine and drinks menu.

Been going to Joshua's for years.Never ever had anything but great food and a great experience here. So many vegetarian options and meat for those who do. Upstairs is bright and light and beautiful on a sunny day. Even though it's raining todayit's still fabulous at Joshua's. Definitely worth a meal here highly recommend.

Our dining experience here was terrific! Our server was genuinely nice and appropriately attentive on a busy night. The meals were fresh, hot and delicious. Can highly recommend the Vegan Ravioli and the Pecan Chicken special. We are indebted to the staff for finding our credit card left behind and kindly mailing it back to us. We are more than happy to recommend this restaurant - great food and wonderful staff!

A delicious restaurant in the heart of Woodstock. I really enjoy eating here when I come up this way. The ingredients are fresh and the service is excellent.
