This was fully loaded and ready for a long stay. I was very impressed with the staff and the beautiful room. My only thing is I wish we were there longer.

This hotel is preety good at the room price offered. The room has a kitchen which has a all basic utensil to cook/eat, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator & a sink to wash the utensils. I gave the review a 4 just because it does not have a breakfast which basically could have saved some time possibly in morning when I had to rush for office. Housekeeping is once in a week. Markets such as Rockland Plaza and Targets (Spring Valley market) are within 1 mile. Free self service laundry services available and there's a gym too. Hotel also offers free wifi.
Staff at reception were friendly as well.

Absolutely love this place. Clean spacious suite for an affordable price. Very nice gym you can do your laundry for free. Friendly staff! Safe and secured place. Very quiet! Costco just beside the hotel.

I've stayed with other Candlewood Suites in other states. Though this one does not have a pool, a lake or any significant outdoor area besides a gazebo and grills squeezed into the parking lot, I liked this one just as much. Staff was very friendly, the room was spacious and it had all that I needed. My pros: modern bathroom with lots of storage, full size fridge, updated flooring, an easy reclining chair, all kitchen necessities in the room already, respectful quiet guests, proximity to any and everything, automatic ice maker. Cons: no pool, skillet old Teflon and badly scratched needs replacing, saw a roach in the kitchen two separate days and need scheduled exterminations, free WiFi was shut off at midnight checkout day, tv channels had no information regarding what was on or even a guide channel.
None if the cons would prevent me from staying with Candlewood again however I plan on contacting this location regarding my concerns before I stay at this one again.

The staff is great. The room is clean and feels like home. The parking is a bit small in the front but there are spaces all around.

First the good: the bed was incredibly comfortable.

The bad: my room stank of smoke. I bought an air freshener, but no help. The tissues smelled of smoke so I opened the box under the bathroom sink, guess what they smelled like. Same with the "fresh" roll of TP!
The "climate control" was awful. It was 40 degrees out and setting the thermostat to 68 triggered the air conditioner. The next night it was still blowing cold air despite being set to 71 and reading 71. I called the front desk, who tried telling me that everyone's personal preference is different. I explained that my preference was not have cold air blowing all night so she said to just turn it off. Because when it's 40 out no heat is a good idea. Instead I cranked it to 80, and next thing I know it's blowing burnt smelling cool air. Hey, at least it overpowered the smoke smell.
Stay away from their overpriced candlewood marketplace. Go around the corner to Target! And while you're there grab some coffee for the pot in the room. The free stuff in the marketplace is the worst wanna be coffee ever!!

Less expensive than other hotels in Rockland. Nice. Felt safe. Great staff. And a kitchen! 24/7 coffee too.

I always go to Candlewood because I'm able to bring my dog along. This location is the best one I've been to so far. Clean hotel and friendly staff.
