"Old Florida" natural seashore at its finest. Great viewing of rocket launches from Cape Canaveral from Parking Area #5. Great lagoon fishing, great surf fishing, interesting visit to ghost town of Eldora and its 'state house' that is open on Saturdays for tours.

LOVE love love the beach here, quiet, peaceful and beautiful. This place is like a hidden gem where few people go or know of. Bring your own food/supplies and water to rinse off and clean up after swimming, there is a public restroom but it's never clean. Also watch out for mosquitoes that only seem to attack when you're heading back to your car, still worth it though!

This has become our favorite beach. The young people can have Daytona Beach, this place is quiet and well worth the $10 per car fee. Love this place!

Absolutely beautiful beach, and I love that it's a national park. Even though they raised admission prices to $10, it's still worth it. There are beautiful places to pull over and look at the lagoon, and the lots that go to the beach have restrooms. Unfortunately, there are no showers to clean off when returning to your car.

Awesome place with great beaches and perfect nature walks. We love coming here every time we come to Daytona. The beaches are quiet and pristine, lots of shells. Parking lot 5 leads to nude beaches so be careful, but a great park.

Best beach in Florida, with the exception of the clothing optional section. We found a dozen huge conch shells, several sand dollars, and even a message in a bottle! Great place to spend a few days away from the crowds. We had the whole beach to ourselves!

Wonderful location. Simply gorgeous. All employees that I came across from the National Park Service were extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and generous with their time. Definitely plan to return.

This is my FAVORITE stretch of beach, anywhere in the WORLD! There's no driving allowed on the beach, so those with children do not need to worry about their kids getting ran over. There are 5 parking areas, so parking can sometimes, not often, be a bit bothersome. There are restroom facilities at each parking area and 2 freshwater showers are located at parking area 1. I fell in love with C.N.S. many years ago and have been a yearly passholder since. Come check out my stretch of beach and you'll find out why you'll love it too. Note: A portion of the southern end of the beach tends to be a bit clothing optional.

A little slice of paradise away from the crowds! I just love this park. Beware there is a clothing optional beach at the end. These beaches truly are gorgeous! From the top of Turtle Mound you can see both the river and the ocean.

Don't miss out! So many beautiful views and specimens of nature. We saw shells of sea turtles on the beach, visitor center has lots of cool things to see. Great beach-but beware, some are clothing optional.

My favorite part of Florida's central east coast. Natural, not so crowded, some days no one is around! Great for long walks, seeing wildlife early in the morning, and a most beautiful sunrise.

Canaveral National Seashore had wonderfully uncrowded beaches. Parking lots are small, so that limits the crowds that can get there. At times, we had a difficult time finding a parking spot in the beach areas. But when you do, you are in for a treat - as you will have a beautifully uncrowded beach. There are other sights to see as well - a historical house and some other historical stops. If you going to anything other than the beach - take mosquito repellent.

Amazing. That beach gives me a glimpse of what heaven will be like. I wish they had showers there though. The Visitors Center has a great film and the Ranger gave a nice presentation of their artifacts.

I have been going here for as long as I can remember. I love this beach. Not only is it plentiful with wildlife, the beach is absolutely beautiful. There are nude sunbathers, but that does not bother me. I'm not there to look at nude people. I highly recommend this park to everybody. The only bad is the amount of bugs swarming around on the lagoon side. BRING BUG SPRAY!

A bit of natural beauty for those who want to avoid the more commercial beaches. We hit the La Playa Linda beach with our family, carefully avoiding the 'adult' sections of the beach. We had it mostly to ourselves. The beach was beautiful and the kids really enjoyed the water. The bathrooms were acceptable. We went to Beach 8 which was wheelchair accessible (though we didn't need that, I think it is the only one.)
Later we went to the Bair's Cove boat ramp to see the manatees in a natural habitat. We got a bonus of jellyfish and a dolphin too!
We didn't spend any time a the visitors center but it had a nice little education area and some nice walkways.
I would highly recommend this park to anyone who visits the area.response / report this review
