  I was a member of this bank since I was 14 I am now 35. the customer service is atrocious I am writing this while I have been on hold with them. I had a paperwork shuffle and child support has fallen through the cracks of our wonderful government. to exacerbate the situation Canandaigua has ruined a banking relationship that had lasted 20 years over 137 dollars. they closed my account with out notifying me first and left me in another crack in the banking system. My arrears would have been fulfilled by what was in my account except they bounced a withdrawal that took place before the freeze on my account and then charged me 37 dollars for it. then after my account was frozen they extracted 100 dollars for their "fee", which made my child support payment 137 dollars short. when talking with them they offered no help just cited their convenient policy which only benefited them. Please I urge everyone to use a Credit Union but if you do want a traditional bank stay away from Canandaigua National Bank.

  Wonderful locally owned bank. I've had my accounts here for over 20 years and have never had a problem.
