We have a family tradition to come here the day after Christmas. I always loved the tradition when I was underage for the food, and now I'm of age and love it for the beer. Staff is extremely nice, food is tasty, beer is tasty. Check this place out.

Pretty great bar. I just upgraded them to 4 stars. I'm not saying it's the best bar ever: but if u want real ales in a quiet, calm atmosphere and close to Boston centre, this is hard to beat.

Nice spot. Great beer selection, lots of seating and various bar areas (it’s connected to a bbq restaurant). Service was great and friendly, and the beer flights (there’s 2 to choose from) were delicious. The portions weren’t large, but the food was pretty good. Will be back again for drinks for sure.

We were meeting up with a group of old college friends who hadn't gotten together in 15+ years. We wanted a spot in the Kendall Square area where we could not only get great food & drink, but also have a quiet enough environment to hear each other and catch up (boy, do we sound old!!). We made reservations at CBC and couldn't have been more thrilled. While most other nights we love sitting at the bar in the thick of things (and even on a Sunday evening the bar was hopping), we were seated with a few other parties in a calmer back room where the volume was perfect. Service was attentive, the food and beer were excellent, and we couldn't have asked for more! Definitely recommended whether you're seeking a loud and crazy night or a more calm & quiet experience.

I love CBC's beers and have been coming here for years. Unfortunately the wait staff has become rather entitled. We tried to have an engagement party for our friends in the back, but when more people showed up than we anticipated the wait staff made it vary apparent that we were not only an inconvenience for them, we were unwanted. The hundreds of dollars we spent was clearly unappreciated. A handful of our party ended up standing and talking, and each time a staff member walked by, they angrily and loudly expressed there frustration. Eventually we were forced to settle up before ordering our meals and going to the bar. I recognize that our group became larger than anticipated, but I was staggered by the lack of professionalism after years of being a loyal customer.

Nice and sunny outside area! Great place if you have a pup with you. The beer tower was insane! Fairly cheap and the food was great besides the fact that certain request like “no tomato” and “add an extra patty” weren’t met but it was fine. The waiter was nice enough but he definitely seemed like he didn’t want to be there that day. Would recommend 100% if you want to pregame with friends and drink good moderately cheap beer.

A visit to the Boston area is not complete without a stop at Cambridge Brewing Company. The beers a perfect to style and always innovative. Tuesday wing nights always have creative flavors that are paired perfectly with beers on draft.

Came here for brunch after place next door had nearly an hour wait. Brunch here is excellent. Beers are widely varied and well made. We finished our delicious brunch just as we were being called to other place. This is a cool place to eat and drink.

We need more places like this in Boston/Cambridge. Clean, modern brewery with a quaint, well-shaded beer garden, excellent beer, and solid food. Will be back for more. Best nachos I've had so far!

Cozy. Does nit close at 9 on Sunday. Kitchen closes only. You still can get beer past 9. Burgers are tasty. Very friendly and helpful staff. I'd recommend it to a friend!

Good food, good spot to hang with friends. They have a nice patio area where you can sit outdoors. I had chicken nachos which were pretty tasty and sizable; I was able to share with my friends. Will definitely go back

We went there on May 3. Around 10 pm. The waitress was not happy with us, i guess it was because we wanted to sit at the table, which meant that she needed to clean it again.
Maybe that was the start of the disaster. What she did to us can be summarized like followings:
- She literally THREW the pints of water ( i guess we should have left there at this point).
- When taking the orders, haha so impolite and humiliating. Cannot describe it here.
- Even we ordered foods, no folks were delivered. So we took them by ourselves from the way to the restroom.
- My left arm got stained with white sauce, and i highly believe that she intentionally left it when she was serving the food. She asked me whether i need to add one more drink, which was the only good thing; but thinking back, she knew that she was doing wrong.
- Funny thing is that the additional drink came after 20 min. So i did not take it because i was not sure whether she did a bad thing on that drink.
It was such a nice place where even i visited with my lab friends quite frequently. But i will not be there suggesting my colleagues not to be there as well. Hey, you should fire her who worked on that time frame. She left there that night around 12 pm.response / report this review -

What a great brewpub, just wish it were closer and easier to park. Easy vibe, attentive friendly service, good menu well executed. Patio in summeraahhhh. Wide spectrum of beer styles to choose from, all brewed on premises. From classic to challenging styles, it'd be freaky how often these brewers hit it out of the park except they've been practicing for thirty years. A shrine for beer pilgrims
