This is now my sixth consecutive week of traveling with Amtrak. I'd like to know why they can't be on time. I remember when I was a kid and it was always on time. They say they're "doing road work" but that's a load of horse pucky. They were late even before the road work started.

That time a guy played his saxophone while waiting for the train. No bathroom though. AMTRAK accomodated my call. Visually safe because it was on a daylight. Nice train experience for me

Sure, nice and clean, but WHERE IS THE BLOODY SIGNAGE that tells me which platform I should be on to get my southbound Surfliner? Track 1 or Track 2?
Turns out from a conductor I flagged from an earlier train said it was Track 1, the same track used for the northbound Surfliner I rode in on. Incredibly counterintuitive! PROVIDE THIS SIMPLE BLOODY INFORMATION ON YOUR WEBSITE, OR E-TICKET OR PLATFORM QUE!!!!

It's a stop and hurry on place .. two rail lines, poorly identified .. one is almost never used .. good luck with No Bathrooms .. you need a cell phone to wonder why your train is late

Great little Amtrak station! I've only ever boarded and de-boarded on one side of the tracks, but sometimes I've heard folks board/de-board on the other side. Parking is generally available but is sometimes hard to come by when CSU Channel Islands is in session during the week. Parking can be longterm or just to go to the Farmers' Market or other Ventura Blvd. businesses.

Construction is finally done at the parking area. Now there is space to leave your car, for free, and hop the rails down to LA and back.
Nice clean well lit and safe location.
