Just left the restaurant and the experience was disappointing enough to prompt me to write. Place wasn’t very crowded
For four adults and two small children for brunch. Pleasant server and staff were helpful when asked about dairy in bread products. After order placed, service incredibly slow (with two small kids you think they’d want to plate and move us fast!). People seated after us were being served. The first pass by a waiter was with someone else’s meals. Then our dishes arrived.
Adults ordered salmon Benedict with poached eggs for 15 bucks. The roasted potatoes were hard and probably frozen first. The eggs poached but tasteless on top of a small grilled Piece of salmon. Portions small and really not good, leaving a bitter aftertaste.
Feel the service and quality of food has gone down. They have the management walking to check on diners. Should have said to her then how disappointing food was. Although “kid friendly” won’t come back. This has been second time and i have to ask myself why!

Went for brunch. Pretty mediocre food and service. Definitely not worth the price. Eggs were dry. Coffee was burnt.

We never had the chance to try anything on the menu, so giving the one star doesn't reflect upon their food, only their total lack of service. On a recent, not busy Saturday afternoon around 2:45, we were seated in their outside area by the host. We watched several waitstaff attend to the other outdoor diners and patiently waited for someone to come to our table. Five minutes passed, then ten, then fifteen, and then after about 20 minutes of waiting, we decided to get up and go elsewhere. During the time we waited, several of the waitstaff paused in their work to look at us, and we assumed each time someone would be with us shortly after. It was not to be. Perhaps none of them could decide if we were within their zone of service, or they were near a shift change and didn't wish to bother with another table. As I noted, it was not a very busy time. There were at least 3-4 waitstaff working the half dozen occupied tables. Not a very good first impression on the restaurant's part.

This place is very nice. The atmosphere is comfortable. Decor is inviting. Our waiter, Anthony, was very in tune with menu and very friendly. The host was very curtious. Prices are reasonable.
It was my second time here and my hubby's first, it won't be our last!!

Always great service and great food. Staff is very cordial and helpful. Our waitress Analise was really nice and made the dinning experience a delight. My favorite part of the meal was my burger which was perfectly cooked and delicious!

We went for Sunday brunch, after a morning cycling class. Arrival was at about 11:45. We had a reservation, it was busy but no wait for a table. The hostess, Annalise, could have exhibited better customer service. She initially tried to seat us at a table that was clean but had bench seats that were covered in food. I point out what was obvious, that the seats were dirty, and asked if they could be cleaned. She replied by saying, "oh, I think that's just salt." I again asked if they could have someone wipe them down, she attempted to brush off the seats with her hand and then walked off in a huff as though we were inconveniencing her by requiring clean seats and sat us at a clean table. A few minutes later I saw a busboy come to clean the seats with proper cleaning utensils, not a hand, so that was good. Our server was very sweet and friendly. Of course I can't remember her name. All the other staff I interacted with were great. The food is not great. I ordered the goat cheese omelette. The veggies that came on top looked a day old, def. not fresh cooked. The only thing I ate were the actual egg whites. My son's food looked decent and he enjoyed his pancakes, bacon, etc. but he said the food tasted better at Ihop. Bottom line, I would never eat here again.

This is our go-to family-friendly place! Wonderful spot for a great mealand cocktail for the adults and a fun, draw-on-the-table location for kids. If only they would go back to the non-horseradish mashed potatoes

Although I gave it a 4 star, it is really more like a 3.5 (I like to be generous). Both the service and food were of mixed quality. The food took a while and the preparation was not exactly as we ordered (e.g. burger was rawer then expected and the fries were kinda cold). But the manager did comp us with free dessert when told about the issue. Price is within the expected range.

Nicely located near parking garage, but overall experience here was not even close to fabulous. No crowd on a thursday night. But, we waited at least 10 minutes after sitting in our seats before a server acknowledged us. Shortly thereafter a friendly African American gentlemen came over first and took our drink order. Drinks arrived promptly by our real server, Ian. He never told us his name ( I finally saw it printed on the receipt). ..just placed the drinks down and took our orders. Food arrived quickly and was accurately made (thus the 2 star rating). Ian left us alone to enjoy our meal. He passed by the table SEVERAL times without even looking our way or checking on our group. I guess the guests at his other tables were more important. No problem. I won't be back anytime soon. There's no shortage of good restaurants in downtown Bethesda.
