My wife, 2.5 yr old daughter and I arrived at 10:30am on a Sunday and was escorted immediately to an open table.
We didn’t have to wait long at all for Chasity to arrive with menus and take our drink order.
I ordered the turkey bacon club with fries and my wife ordered the tenderloin sandwich. Both meals were delicious and plenty of food. We shared with our daughter and still had leftovers.
Chasity checked on us frequently and brought us a to go drink and check before we asked for it.
We will be back. We spent $23 with tip.
The atmosphere was a good country kitchen feel.
Have had lunch there many times and it has always been very good. We had dinner there for the first time and we were very disappointed. Fried chicken was over cooked as well as the fish. We took lemon pie home for dessert and ended up throwing it out. Maybe it was a new cook but dinner dinning will definitely have to improve.
Decent food. Ordered the steal sub with mushroom sauce. It was ok. Service was excellent though which made it 5 stars for me.
I love this place!! The food is delicious, home cooking, stick to your ribs kinda food. The pies are phenomenal and the staff is super nice! The hotshots are just like how my grandma used to make them!
We usually LOVE this restaurant and stop in everytime we are in town. The food and service are always great. Today Not so great. Don't know what was going on, but this is the first time we didn't have a great experience. All and all I highly recommend. Try the cream cheese veggie pizza it is amazing.
We will be back.
We love the all-you-can-eat spaghetti and meatballs all day Saturday or the pork tenderloin sandwich any other day. The whole menu is perfectly simple and there's definitely something for everyone. Most of the servers have been there for a while and any given day they're extending friendly welcome to new patrons or catching up with the regular customers. Be aware that they can be busy during peak meal times. They do have a parking lot but there's also plenty of street parking for all of the shops in the neighborhood. They sit right in the middle of downtown Waynesville so there's also plenty of cool little shops filled with vintage goods, handmade items, and one of the better-known attractions is Fabric Shack.
Nice looking place, but the small town atmosphere allows standards and staff behavior to suffer. Created by hosted that basically said here and walked away. Didn't offer high chair, and no welcoming attitude.
Also, running vacuum while people eat right around table. Food didn't come out at same time.
Not sure I will be back.
This is a nice, quaint country style restaurant. The food is good and the process are cheap. I recommend giving them a stop on your next visit.
Clean, quiet, comfy, good home-cooking. Wait-staff attentive but not overly so. Everyone friendly and kind.
Food here was not bad, but not the best. Some things are cookie cutter or obviously frozen from GFS, but not surprising. If you're looking for some warm food with a pretty diverse selection this place has it. Daily specials and friendly staff make the place worth returning
Very nice little mom and dad Family Restaurant food was good reasonably priced
