It's pricey, but I'm a big fan of local coffee shops and they do a good job. They're not super friendly, but it's easy to ignore.

Go to Birch or the Hungarian Pastry Shop instead. These people hate anyone with laptops. No wifi on the weekends, outlets covered up so you can't recharge. Just go elsewhere.

Love these guys. Owner always says hello to the regulars, his staff are pleasant and attentive and happy to make your time there enjoyable. I recommend the paninis. All are great.

Gio is a great cashier, bartender, and order taker. He was so nice during my big order for my table, and was able to handle multiple customer orders while tending to the bar.

Snacks and sandwiches make the grade. Wifi keeps em coming. After the sun sets, the bar has it's own attractions. The booze ain't bad either. Avoid buying items from the traveling vendors in need of $

Lady at the counter…I won't call her a barista because she wasn't one…tried to pass off a stale shot of espresso in my Americano. I noticed. She sheepishly remade it when I asked her or a fresh one.
