  Such amazing breakfast. Everything tasted so great, we loved it. We got the French toast, omelette, and biscuit sausage egg and gravy plate. First of all, the portion sizes were huge - but we just ate what we could and took the rest home. The French toast was delicious, one of the best I’ve had.

  If you're looking for diner food, this is THE place. Wife said french toast was the best she's ever had. Spinach soup was the best I've ever had. Service was awesome. Great place!

  We love the warm, friendly owners that take great care of us when we come in as well as the delicious, generous portions of home cooking. We confidently always bring our family & friends in for breakfast when they are visiting from out of town knowing it will be a win for us all. BTW.the French Toast is amazing!!!

  Amazing food. Really good. Please do give this a try. This place is super busy well worth the wait. Price fair. Service has room for improvement. This is a cafe they do great for their circumstances

  Not worth it. Got chicken fried steak eggs over easy and had them make the country potatoes into "garbage hash, or killer potatoes" as other residents call it. All together with 2 drinks it was $37. We get the exact same amount of food at similar diners and it's $23 including the drinks. The gravy wasn't great, the chicken fried steak was soggy, eggs were undercooked even for over easy, and the biscuit tasted old, and the potatoes were over cooked. Probably not going back. But the staff was nice

  If you haven't been here. GO. It's a great atmosphere with good service and incredible food. Biscuits and gravy were great, the pancake was amazing.

  The food was absolutely delicious and the food was twice the size you'd get at other cafes. The only thing that bothered me was the price of the drinks. A bit to expensive as far as the drinks go but the food was fantastic and the customer service was great. Not to mention their pancakes are the size of dinner plates (literally).

  I made my first visit to Cafe 300 on a Sunday afternoon for a quick brunch to myself. I ordered the egg breakfast and decided to substitute French toast with berries and whipped cream in place of the toast/biscuit it usually comes with. The French toast was delicious but I ended up paying nearly $5 for the substitution. I also ordered a cup of coffee which the kind waitress refilled four times before the food arrived. The cafe was rather empty so I was surprised by the long wait, but I had nowhere else to be and the meal was simply scrumptious so I really didn't mind.

  Cafe 300 is the little mom and pop place that everyone should try to preserve a piece of Americana. The foods have a large-portioned, homemade feel, the atmosphere is classic 50s diner in styling, and the soups, desserts, and specials change by the day. If you're lucky enough to land on a day they serve their hearty mushroom soup, I recommend it.
  
  Breakfast food is probably their specialty, with large french toast and generous country fried steaks and the lot, but they have a good lunch selection with a lot of familiar sandwiches and sides. No individual food is so impressive that you'll never go someplace else, but as a comforting piece of a dining experience nearly lost, it certainly satisfies.

  For the price it was not that good. We spent $65 (with tax and tip) on three people. You could get much better food at Cracker Barrel for half the price. We each order one drink and then a main dish. Fast food would have been better food and at a better price.It looks like most of the other reviews were for the breakfast menu, so maybe that is delicious. We got dinner and it was not delicious. I would not go back.
  
  Note, the all day breakfast is only Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. On Friday and Saturday it ends at 3pm.
  
  I got a build-your-own hamburger that didn't come out correct. I noticed another table got a hamburger that wasn't correct either. There was too much grease and sauce on it which made it slide around. The fries were mushy by the time I ate my hamburger.
  
  My husband got the salmon with blackened seasoning. He said it was dry and the seasoning wasn't good. His mashed potatoes weren't bad, but the gravy had zero flavor to them.
  
  The only good item was the root beer float that my husband got.
