Amazing food!I tried grilled octopus and shrimp mousse ravioli. Both tasted extraordinarily good. The ravioli especially was a bomb! Good service too.

Pricey menu, but top notch service. You get what you pay for. Food is excellent, but portion is small. Great for group hangout or romantic dinner.

Delicious tapas and entrees, friendly and attentive service, elegant and yet relaxed atmosphere, and a full bar with craft cocktails. Go eat there! You won't be sorry.

It has good food and a nice ambiance but our service was very poor. Our waiter had absolutely no character, failed to bring a salad we ordered and failed to remove a drink we got for free with a coupon we got while walking into the restaurant.

If Google started giving rewards to businesses, Cadiz should receive one! Their customer service is beyond expectations, truly sweet waiters. The music also had variety, the interior is just BEAUTIFUL, and the food is DIVINE. My new favorite spot!

A must-try in lively downtown Santa Barbara. I had the salmon pasta and was not disappointed. Excellent service also.

Just terrible. Apparently Uncle Ben's + zatarains + mussels = paella. Also a cup filled with buttercream frosting passes for a tiramisu. We had a price fixed menu and everything on it was pretty bad, especially for the price.

This is a truly beautiful restaurant. Casablanca plays on a loop on two TVs and a projector screen. The movie is muted to give way to lovely music that accentuates the atmosphere. The staff is very kind and quick to recognize needs.
They're only open for dinner but they have definitely mastered the dinner menu. I ordered the seafood paella and it was absolutely delicious. The proportions were a decent size and I had a lot to take home for leftovers. Mind you I am not a shy eater and came there hungry and ready. Even a day later, the paella held up well and filled my kitchen with wonderful scents that made me ready to go back to Cadiz.
Overall, it's an amazing place to go for a couples' night, dinner and drinks with friends, or just a quick stop for a drink at the bar. I can not say enough good things about this place. If you're considering it, just make a reservation now. You won't regret it.response / report this review -

Well, it was our big night last night of 25 years on Valentine's Day! Made a reservation for 9pm. I was excited to come here because they had steak on the menu for my son and scallops for her! Well that's where the fun and excitement stopped :( I requested seating inside with my reservation and we were seated outside. There was plenty of seating inside, what the? So we sat down ordered drinks and at 9:20 our waiter tells us sorry there is no more scallops or steak. My heart dropped. It's 9:20 at night and we already ordered drinks. I can't just pack up and try to find seating somewhere on this crazy night on State St. I am not running around with my family in hand trying to get seating at another place. Could they have called us before we arrived for a heads up? Could they have let us know before they sat us down? This was a big deal because it was a FIXED MENU. If you are going to have a FIXED MENU how could they run short and especially if you are taking reservations. Well, it basically comes down to poor management. Its more important to keep money in their pockets than having food on the table for the guests. I was irritated and felt stuck now eating there. Manager seemed to be flirting with waitress in red so I could not get his attention (really at a place like this). It was a $300 night and I felt ripped off and thanks for shutting off the heater next to my wife, way before we were done eating off your FIXED MENU. Who the heck is the manager here? Really!? A phone call, letting us know before seating, or at least offering to accomidate my son or wife in another way would have been nice. We are locals and we should have avoided this place. Time for new management. I can deal with anything but I fell I let my family down on a big night. Does this happen? Sure it happens, but when it does, the manager steps in and takes care of the guests.

Our favorite restaurant in Santa Barbara. The food is excellent time after time. The atmosphere is casual and charming. The seafood is great, but I really have not tried anything that I haven't liked here. We love this place so much that we held our wedding reception here, and the guests are still raving about the food at our wedding. The entire staff is lovely, and the owner is one of the friendliest, most accommodating people you'll meet. If you're in Santa Barbara, you have to try Cadiz!
