Great service. Worked out great deals. They went the extra mile and stayed late to get us into the vehicles we wanted. Will definitely will be going back.

I rated to be the best when I purchased. I got it for a great offer. I had to come back 8 times, lied about title, lied about maintainance packages and still waiting on few times. For all this, I have to still wait for what? Their time and appointment. What about mine? "Sir, Please call us and remind that i have to do this"

I have never given a bad review before, but my husband and my experience at this place was so terrible. They played these games of trying to get our monthly payment down but never even showed us the price of the vehicle, down payment or any numbers that got them to the monthly payment. Finally we went to leave because the back and forth was never ending and they brought out a guy that showed us all of the numbers, which were insulting. The price of the vehicle was thousands more than advertised and the price of the trade in was thousands under what was discussed. We got into a yelling match with the GM who was rude and disrespectful from the moment he walked over. Knowing other people may have just been happy with the monthly payment and signed those papers is sickening. I will never set foot back in this building. Worst experience I have ever encountered. We went to Mccarthy Chevrolet who gave us 7,500 MORE on our trade in and the price of the new vehicle was less as well. And there were no games or negotiating getting to the price, they just straight forward gave us the best they could do. We bought our vehicle there in lest time than we spent negotiating a fair price at Cable Dahmer. Knowing we could have been screwed out of 10k at this place is insane. I will warn every person I encounter to never go to this place.

I spent a total of ten hours buying a car here. Chris Knox was a pleasure to work with, but after all that time, I couldn't get my car registered because the finance department made some easily fixable mistakes on the title. After hours of waiting and multiple trips to the DMV and even going to another dealership to get a notary (which should have been completed at Cable Dahmer), I finally got the title corrected and my car registered. If the finance department weren't so backed up, this would be a great place to buy a car. However, the long wait time and avoidable errors in my paperwork left a bad taste with me. I'd only buy another vehicle from here if I could work with Mr. Knox. Absent his input, I'd never step foot on this lot again.

****Service Department review*** I scheduled a service appointment for my vehicle and arrived 15 minutes early. I completed the check-in process and was told it would be approximately an hour and a half for an oil change. I waited in the lobby with my one year old. After an hour and a half and having watched several customers that had arrived after me leave after their completed service, I contacted the service desk. I inquired on my vehicle and was told it was next in line to be serviced. I asked why make an appointment for vehicle service if the times are not kept by the service department. The service adviser told me the "appointment times are not appointments for the vehicle to be serviced, rather an appointment to speak with an adviser, just like doctors offices they run late". He further told me they had a rush of customers come that had not scheduled service. One would think the customers that took the time to complete the Businesses "appointment" process should receive priority care. We finally made it out of the dealership after just over two hours (by this time my child had lost all patience, as it was now past his nap time).

I've had by far the worst experience with this company, I was told bring your vehicle in, we will follow you to work or drop you off didn't happen waited 45min still no one to take or follow me to work, I had to call someone my self to get to work. then I was told if we keep your car we will give you a loaner, that did not happen either they are all out of loaner cars, but as you wait on hold the commercial states we have hundreds of loaner cars!!!! Oh did I forget to say the gentleman who helped me never called me I had to call him still was not able to get him oh but when my husband called he was able to speak to him!!! SMDH and people when you car in under warranty there doing you a favor by fixing it he say!!!

Got asked for a utility bill and then the car wasn't even there. The sales manager called on the phone and asked if I was married to someone by an disclosed name before I even went and looked at the car also asked where I worked. What difference does this make if I just want to look at a car? Then set an appointment and had to cancel due to the car not even being on the lot. Lost my business, I've found a car elsewhere.

Very friendly sales staff. The GM is accessible if you have a question; not a common trait among GMs. Recommend.
Had to take my car to the collision center after an accident. Not only were the repairs completed early, but the work was impeccable. The car was returned washed, vacuumed and a full tank of gas!
    Very impressive! Highly recommend!

This review is from Dave Roberts. I bought a 2017 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray 2LT Z51from Cable Dahmer Chevy. Sales people Christna & Clint were very helpful & let me test drive the car. Service dept. has been great so far. Finance dept. was great & let me finance a small amount as I mostly paid cash. 1 small complaint- after I bought the car Cable Dahmer offered unlimited mileage on the power train of new & used vehicles they sold. I called & left a message for Christina to see if they could offer that to me & I never heard back.

Bought 2 cars here, all my service here. I've never been happy with sales people, but they seem slightly better here. Service gets better every year.
Just lose the music in the wait area, too much going on with TV, personal devices, and background noise already.

The only true issues I've had here were services inability to explain things to the warranty company (previous car), which nulled coverage until clarified and the demon spawns that have always populated their finance department and make you regret everything you talked about with sales.

This is hands down the worse GM dealership in the existence of the world. I bought a 2014 Chevy Sonic new from here over three years ago and I now know I will never come here again. I've been taking all five of my GM vehicles to McCarthy Chevrolet in Lee's Summit for a while now after this place had left a bad taste in my mouth with their parts department. Anywho, I called them last week telling them to no longer send me spam mail trying to sell me a new vehicle for I wasn't interested. I had also informed them that I had a new GM prefer dealership. They asked why and I told them that I didn't feel they wanted to service my 1992 Geo Metro and I take all my vehicles to the same GM certificated service center so I wasn't going to run all over the place. The guy I talked to sounded convinced that if McCarthy would work on my car that they would to. So this week I brought my car there with a question about it only to be told they wouldn't touch it. Then when I called GM they contacted Donna Burns who told them that they would not service my 1992 Geo Metro because of the age and for some bright reason never kept a Tech 1 scan tool to be able to work on anything that old. I will NEVER step foot at this place as long as I live again. A bunch of liars and crooks and I definitely wouldn't call their work "certified" to work any GM vehicle. Please stay away from this place and visit McCarthy or any other GM dealership for your needs.

Stay clear unless you want to be taken completely advantage of. Sure, we all know that car dealerships do their absolute best to rip you off and maximize their own pockets; however, this place take it to a whole different level. Do not allow them to keep you focused on only the monthly payments so that they can stick it to you through an outrageous APR! I have good credit and was suckered by them through my percentage rate somehow. You have been warned.

I just want to say Chris Knox was very knowledgeable and patient. I was there a few months ago and didn't have a good experience and was going to go to Macarthy but Chris Knox turned that experience around for me. I would recommend Cable Dahmer to everyone I know. Thanks everyone who helped my daughter through this car buying experience

What an awful experience. After initially going in to purchase a used 2016 Cruze that was a great price, I was informed that that car had been sold about two weeks prior. That sucks but it happens and inventory changes, totally get that. I then spoke with Brandon and was informed that they could get the 2017 version within about $1000 of what the used one cost. That kept things pretty nicely within my budget. We ended up test driving the LT instead of the premier but I was informed that some of the premier offerings could be added to the LT so once again not a big deal.

Once that was out of the way and we began to talk financing is when things went completely off the rails. I could get absolutely no one to tell me how much the car would actually cost, they would instead steer the conversation to what I wanted my monthly payments to be. They continuously badgered me about putting money down on the car, I informed Brandon five or six times that I would be putting $0 down. He was pretty worried that his boss would think he didn't do his job so I offered to tell his boss I would put $0 down as well.

They then kept trying to get me to sign some made-up paper agreeing to purchase the car if my payments were a certain amount but would never tell me what my interest rates would be, a low monthly payment is great but if I'm getting screwed on interest rates you can forget it. I will definitely be financing through a separate institution.

If you want to actually buy a car and leave it with it (like I was planning on doing) I would look elsewhere.
