not a good company to work for
I worked here for about 2 weeks after finally finding the position there with COPS during a desperate 6 month work search. Then I walked out and never came back. It was my first official job and it was exciting to be offered the position. But after only a single day in the facility I felt wrong and highly unwelcome. The stares and glares of those who already work there simply sneer at the word "trainee". The treatment for new trainees is like a game of hot potato where you have to find who will teach you for the day. As for the other coworkers there..they were"peculiar" in a sense. They were strange, short tempered, and most of all they are highly unprofessional in the way they speak. Shouts of profanity and lude comments aren't what I wanted to hear on the first day of training or at all. The atmosphere was depressing and everyone seemed very miserable. There was one worker named "Glen" who made me really realize how awful and immature even adults can be. It was shocking how he wasn't fired yet for being moronic. There is no moral basis or guideline to go by, everyone looks like they were picked off the cold side streets. I want to warn anyone who is thinking about applying here because DON'T. You'll regret it sooner or later and it just isn't an enjoyable job whatsoever. Please do better with your facility!
DO NOT JOIN THIS COMPANY!
The pay is a joke and the job is mindless nonsense.
this place has a very nice vending machine
COPS takes great pride in providing a wonderful working environment by developing a culture we all believe in. They take care of the people who take care of them. Benefits are beyond anything I've ever received at other jobs. Quarterly trips for exemplary employees are an added bonus and further proof that the Company appreciates the dedicated staff!
Horrible company
