LOGISTICS: Had our rehearsal dinner here in June. We rented out the entire restaurant. Cocktail hour in the back by the bar and on the deck, then dinner in the front. To rent out the entire place, we had about 80 people there for dinner and just spent enough to end up near the minimum.
BAR/DRINKS: 2-3 bartenders ran the bar during the cocktail hour and there was always a waiter running drinks during dinner. The drinks were excellent quality, top shelf liquor and som-picked wines. The staff did an excellent job keeping glasses filled and turning out orders quickly.
FOOD: We had apps--salmon poke, mushroom bruschetta, and empanadas. All were perfect and people were taking 2 at a time. Dinner was 3 course salad, entree, dessert. The chef was really flexible and worked with us to add some family touches to some of their offerings to personalize the night. That really separated Butch's from other places and got the 5th star here. All the food was phenomenal. No real need to detail everything as we heard nothing but great reviews-- of note a few folks told me the chicken was some of the best they'd ever had.
OVERALL: We were just hoping for a fun night. Butch's turned in one of the best dinners I've ever had and ran the event far beyond our expectations. Regardless of how much money you're willing to pay, you can't buy the kind of excellence we saw in the Butch's staff. That kind of thing comes only from people who really enjoy what they do and are excited to put on a show. Their energy was really contagious and spread to the guests. I can't say enough about the experience and in hindsight would be willing to pay a lot more than we did.response / report this review -

The service was great and the food was done to perfection and and tasted so marvelous !! The whole staff worked together to make our night so special ! As if we were their only customers .

Some of the best madeleines I think I've ever had. The main course was amazing as well. A little bit pricey, but what you'd expect for a fancier restaurant.
