We went here with some family and friends for a little sunset dinner. The structure behind did block the view but it was okay. I would think it depends on the time of the year to get a clear view. It has that by the beach restaurant/shack feel. They took an over the phone reservation and we didn't have to wait at all when we got there. Food was pretty good and well priced. Service was very friendly and attentive. Even though we took a little while as a group, we were never rushed.

Food is absolutely delicious every time I've been here. Appetizers, entrees, service, atmosphere was perfect! I come here every time I'm in town. Best indoor/outdoor casually dressed with a fine dinning feel place I've been to in the area.

Went in here with my colleagues for a celebration.. We were around 25 people and the waitresses got the drinks and food on time. They handled it very well. One of the steaks was rare instead of medium, the waitress brought another one in a short amount of time, and instead of 6 oz, got the bigger portion for the prize of 6oz. And food is just delicious!!! It's a cool restaurant with a large patio and pool, good bar and again, very very delicious food! Definitely will visit again!

Atmosphere was fun! Outside eating, live music and a pool! Food was incredibledo yourself a favor and order the smoked salmon appetizer! Everything was fresh and seasoned well. (I will say I do not recommend the Key Lime pie.) Only issue was service. We waited a really long time for anything where it was close to laughable. If you have a lax schedule go check it out. The food to me, was worth the wait.

Awesome food foremost. Great service even during a busy Friday night. Valet parking available if you choose. I did, and it was well executed. Couldn't have had a nicer date night. I'll definitely return.

Very good food and service. Large portions. The main reason why we went is we heard the patio is pet friendly. The ONLY part of the patio that is pet friendly is the area near the pool.

We were reluctant to visit, at first, because of the mixed reviews - and when we had walked there from our Inn the previous night, it was so crowded and noisey that we left. However, we had eaten there a couple years ago and it was great. We walked there again tonight and it was not so crowded, so we had their amazing Chop-Chop salad. Though the noise level was still quite high - added to by the PA music system, the food and service were excellent!
I was also aggravated a little the previous night that their best, waterside, tables are also the smoking section - presumably because the breeze there carries the smoke away - but also freezes out the nonsmokers.
It is obvious that this is a very popular restaurant, and likely deservedly so, and the potential diner should take personal inventory of his or her needs. This is definitely a restaurant prone to celebrations and merry-making, which can include situations where staff in any restaurant could be overwhelmed by the volume of patrons. We were glad we left the first night, but also glad we returned the following night (a Monday). I hope this puts some of the earlier reviews in perspective. The first visit we made to the restaurant, they were playing live music, which added to the celebratory ambiance, and it was pretty decent.

Family friendly, amazing food, great selection. $2 draft beer during happy hour. The kids fish meal was delicious and the perfect size. Mixed grill special with scallops, shrimp and beef tips was a huge portion. Two in our party had the surf and turf. Perfectly cooked lobster and sizable steak. Can't say enough good things about this place. It was a happy accident that we found it and we will definitely be back soon.

I've been coming here for years and years. The food is ALWAYS spectacular and delicious! Anything you order is amazing. My favorites are Chop Chop salad, Sea Bass, fish tacos, peel and eat shrimp, burgers, etc., etc.! Basically, the things I dislike isn't much. The only problem that I have is there's not enough busing staff in the tiki/water area so it makes the wait service consistently slow as they have to.do it all so expect to wait on drinks and food or sit inside close to the kitchen. If you sit outside for the view, just chill and relax and enjoy the amazing view!

There was cooler weather last night. I sat on the open air portion of Ozona Blues' patio. It is an open air patio with cordless warmers that appear to have an open flame. A man removed the warmers from the open air patio (leaving only one for distant occupied tables). Then placed the warmers near the bar, under a roofed patio with plastic protective enclosures, pulled down around it. It was an odd and seemingly unsafe practice. When the manager was requested, the manager of the area never came. The description provided from staffing in several areas (a man in the blue shirt (Phil)) appeared to match the description of the person who moved the warmers. The question of safety being unexplained overshadowed the dining experience. It is a family friendly restaurant next to a storage facility for boats.
