Good Sunday breakfast only if you are a regular. Been there twice and they seem to be more attentive to there regular customers. Food was ok. Update 12-10-17. Tried the Sunday breakfast buffet again. This time the service was great and the food was excellent. The food was a lot taster this time. Love the scramble eggs and ham. Will be back again.

This place is ran like a mofia. I would tell every good person to never go there for morality purposes. You can get cheap gordans food anywhere. I served my country for you to choose but my family will never go there if I can help it.

Great service. The fried pickles were amazing. Hlwever, for it to be a slow night our entrees were cold.

Love the place, go several times a week, good food and beverages are always great. As of late they seem to have had service issues. Sitting at the bar, I would expect more contact. Always seem to have drama which takes precedence over service. Will still go, cuz they are great. Hope they refocus on the customers in front of them. Otherwise they would be five stars!

Took my 8 person family on mothers day for the brunch from 8am-1pm. The food was phenomenal and didnt run out of anything. Omelette bar was unique and great. Coffee was hot and delivered frequently. There service on the other hand was the reason for the 3 star rating. From having to wait 15 minutes for my reserved table and getting there to realize we were going to have to sit at a fold out table that could barely seat 6 comfortably, not ok. When we asked for another table we were told because of reservations we couldn't get one. Well once we spoke to someone else they accommodated us only to seat us at a table pushed up to a wall right by the main path so half my party couldn't get out. On our way to the new table, we were asked to move aside by an employee that had another party. Mind you I have a 92 year old grandma that has a walker. I told him he could wait while we got to our new table. Also why is it ok to sell flowers right outside the door?

Buddies Grill is not a well kept secret. In a small town like Holt, you wouldn't think that you would see so many people from far off places. Buddies maintains a great look, exceptional atmosphere, well prepared food from a well put together menu, and to top it off, an excellent selection of beer and cocktails. It's no wonder people will travel 45 minutes or more to enjoy the experience.

Manager/bar tender was unbelievably RUDE. Asked her to run lotto tickets & there was a machine behind the bar. She directed me to the automated machine. There were NO customers at the bar. Needed a glass of water ASAP and she told me to ask our waitress. Wanted to cash in keno winnings and she waited on two people that came up to the bar AFTER me. She told me paying customers had priority. Dropped $50 on lunch so perhaps that doesn't count. Our waitress Keesha was top notch. Too bad they have a rude manager. Unacceptable customers service. The owner Terri Lynn needs to pay attention to what is going on in her restaurant

Overall not a bad experience. The service is generally pretty good and the food is decent. They have live music and trivia nights, too.

This is my favorite place to go when I'm in town. The menu changes seasonally and is a nice mix between standard sports bar food and some more experimental or interesting choices. The beer selection is usually good and the cocktails, I hear, are good. I don't drink sweet cocktails due to blood sugar issues, but Buddies seems to have good, seasonal choices here too. The bar area is large and there are quite a few TV's.
