Great place to tent camp or camp period! Staff is super nice and RR are clean. Showers are a little small but very clean. Stayed 2 nights and it was quiet and nobody bothered use. We heard kids late at night but no big deal because we know kids will be kids. Great trip and hope to come again soon. A+ 😀

We visited this RV park in October. The weather was still very nice. The campsites are level and most are pull-thru sites, which is very nice. The roads between the sites are named and paved, which is wonderful. There is a small store, which probably wasn't well stocked due to it being off season. There is a pool, which was still open. I didn't visit the public bathroom or showers. There is also a laundry on site. This is about 5 miles from Sunset Beach, not bad.
The only part I don't like is that they charge for each additional person over 2. I don't know if that is to discourage families or large groups. It definitely seems that way considering I doubt each extra person is costing the park $5 per person per day. (That was the posted rate) Also wifi is individually password protected, so I assume if you need more devices covered, you would need to purchase more service.
Overall, the park was super quiet. So quiet, we heard absolutely nothing. The quiet time is 10 p.m., but while we were there, it was quiet the entire time. The grounds were well kept and overall a nice place. I would have rated it a five except for the excessive charges for additional guests.

Our first time at this campground. 2 nights in a 33 foot travel trailer. nice staff, neat and clean grounds. our site was pull thru. decent size sites. rates are not bad for summer time and close to beach. we will stay here again for sure.

First of all they charge $5 for every member of your family per night after the first two people. At$55 a night a family of four actually cost $65. If you have someone join you and they arrive after midnight they still charge for the previous day. There is no change machine in the laundry room and the store closes at six everyday. Someone damaged a water hookup and they shut the water off to the whole campground for about five hours. When asked about any kind of comp or refund they stated it was not their fault that a camper ran over it. Well guess what it was not mine either but I had to do without water in the middle of a July day anyway including bathroom facilities. I will not return and I would not recommend this campground to .anyone

Nice CG. Friendly staff that accomodated my last-minute reservation. Nice amenities. Did not see any trashy full-time residents. Long pull-through sites so you do not have to unhook your toad if you do not want to. Reasonably priced, considering the location and time of year. Would stay here again.

I recently took 13 girl scouts camping in a total of 5 tents. The staff was fantastic from the time I called to inquire about reservations to the moment we checked out. The outdoor kitchen was so awesome to have. The bathrooms and showers were clean. The grounds were clean and the firerings were in good shape. The camp store was super convenient as we could purchase firewood on site and even treated the girls to some ice cream pops. The girls loved the playground, too. In all this was a perfect place for a for a mid size group of 2nd-5th graders for a weekend overnight. Great place for family or couples, tents or RVs. Great staff, clean , and convenient to beaches or Wilmington.

This was a great little campground for our weekend getaway. The staff was super nice. The grounds were clean and manicured. The cabin we stayed in had cold cold cold ac. you need to bring your own linens but that was not a problem. there are fire rings at every campsite. over all it was a great experience.

After driving seven hours, I stopped at the guard shack as it said to stop and check in. I got out of the car and said hello when the guy looked at me and replied "What do you want?" Wow, what a great first impression. He directs me to the main office for check in and says nothing more, nor wanting to hear anything else from me as he closed the door quickly.

The woman in the main office was not very friendly at first. On a later date, a different woman was in the office talking to her friend, far too busy for me to buy a bag of ice and check out of there. She turned to her two coworkers (both standing around) and said that two people were on hold and asked the coworkers to write down their contact info. Seems like customers aren't a priority.

The tent sites are for two people. Past that and you pay an extra $5 a night per person. However, wifi is limited to two devices. You don't get extra devices despite paying the fee. The wifi was fast enough for texting and social media, and the network is actually pretty good.

The online booking system was pain free and quick to use. I booked two weeks in advance and easily got the first choice in spots for the tent area.

Showers and bathrooms were pretty clean, had no obvious odor. Showers were coed, which was a little weird. The pool was clean and the perfect temperature, but can get crowded once a few families with small children get in, so keep that in mind.

Quiet hours are 10pm to 8am, but nobody stopped the screaming children running around the site at 7am. The guard that stays overnight had to come over and tell us that the 3ft alligator in the fishing pond was safe and wouldn't walk ten feet over to our tent. The tent sites are in hit or miss shade through the day, and I felt safe leaving less valuable items in the tents while gone for the day. Just one receptacle at each tent site would have been of great value, as it is hot at night and a fan would be helpful.

Overall, the resort was okay when not interacting with the staff or watching your back from the alligator.

Super convenient location (beaches, stores, restaurants are all just minutes away) and fairly level, full hook up sites at a great price. Staff is very friendly. Nice pool and laundry facilities. No activities for the kids - this is more of a place to hang your hat and stay for the night in between shopping, beaches, and eating. Wifi reception is spotty to non-existent. Cable reception wasn't great. But sites are roomy and inexpensive - would recommend to those visiting the Sunset Beach, NC area!

Is friendly, cheap, the camp side are just enough, living the camper here is a good option if you wanna come back and save money on gas. No many things to do or entertaining you in site. So enjoy the beach and the area.
