This is an old school Pacific Northwest outfitter. It's been here since I can remember and has all the essentials you might be looking for. Everything from socks to headlamps, stoves, and sleeping bags. Nice assortment of tents as well. Imagine all the best things from REI extracted for a small but excellent selection. You can get some car camp stuff here too but that isn't the focus. Always a favorite!!

I was looking for shoe inserts, and this place had the Smartfeet inserts I was looking for. Beyond that, I was very pleasantly surprised at the inventory here: pretty much everything you might need for adventures in Olympic National Park.

Great local shop!

Good spread of equipment and clothing. Prices were reasonable, especially for a smaller local shop.

Rented snowshoes. Friendly in setting us up with equipment and giving recommendations. Accommodating on the rental.

Would highly recommend!

Fantastically helpful in getting a pair of high quality hiking boots that fit well and have stood the rigor of some long hikes.. we also found their selection of specialty items for hiking particularly good.

This is my favorite outdoor store in town. There is a nice selection of hiking and camping supplies as well as clothes. The shoe selection is great. Some outdoor stores I've been to have shoe selection limited to one type of outdoor activity such as lumberjack boots. The have a selection of sturdy shoes good for whatever it is you like to do outdoors.
