  If your carpet is of value, do NOT take it to this place unless you know their plan for cleaning, and approve. We assumed they could clean a small handwoven carpet that the Northside, original Brown's had cleaned years ago. Instead they soaked it thoroughly, running the colors into the white areas, and eventually had to do some sort of bleaching to make it look OK. The bleaching is irregular and ineffective, and the rug looks worse than before they touched it. The owner admitted he had to take it to Chicago for advice. Good carpets should be handled very differently from machine-made ones, which are sturdier when it comes to mechanical cleaning.

  I used this company more than 3 times Employee are very polite and after they clean the carpet , my carpet is amazingly clean.

  Seaming is terrible! They came out to "fix" it and said it was just way we vacuumed but other carpet we had for 20 years didn't show seams no matter what way we vacuumed. Also new vinyl has developed bubbles because it's a "new" product that you don't glue down. Had to have them come out twice to put base trim on right but they finally had my carpenter put the trim up right. Also metal stripping at transitions are tacky. Crew was less than desirable also. I have had thousands of yards of carpet install over the years in homes and apartments and I wouldn't use them again!

  I would highly recommend Brown's for anyone's industrial cleaning needs. I had floors that had been neglected for quite some time and ended up being extremely pleased at how well they did at bringing them back to life. Josh (owner) was courteous and professional throughout the process and his guys worked hard under his direction. They were great at working around my store hours as well. Brown's pricing I feel was fair and in-line. I can't imagine trying to do on my own what they were able to accomplish. It was a much needed cleaning and money well spent!
