I wanted so badly to love this company and be satisfied with our moving experience considering that I received a positive referral. However, contracting with VIG was one of the worst experiences I've EVER had. If I could give zero stars, I would.
I hired the team to do a partial pack and move from a 2bd/2ba apartment to a house. I sent videos and photos to both the owner, Bab, and lead mover, Carlos, indicating how much still needed to be packed and moved. First, they didn't bring enough supplies. Carlos left for almost an hour to go buy more boxes and tape. The team of 3 movers left behind eventually stopped working. Between the time the 3 movers started taking my things downstairs to the truck and the time Carlos got back there was an altercation between the team which included the police being called and 3 of the 4 movers quitting.
We asked Carlos to bring the items on the truck to the house and pay for services rendered, but Carlos refused. In hindsight, I should have called the police myself to have my items returned or delivered to the house so we could hire a different company to finish the job, but we were all in shock. We waited nearly 3 hours in total for Carlos to find additional movers. The additional movers were hired from Craig's List. No background check, no real sense of who was invited into my home to pack and move my personal belongings. One of the new movers was indeed mentally unstable and was released immediately. A 5-7 hour pack and move turned into 15 hours!
Not only were our things just randomly thrown into boxes, but our dining table was badly scratched in the process. I reached out to Bab, the owner, regarding the damage with no response. We are still unpacking and don't even know if we received all of our items because our belonging were left in the hallway and outside unattended multiple times. 0 stars. Does NOT recommend.
UPDATE: We also found that one of our TVs is cracked!response / report this review -

We are so delighted we VIG Moving. My in-laws had an urgent issue when their movers bailed on them with 15 minutes notice, and VIG did a same-day move for them. VIG took a lot of stress off of us, and most importantly, off of my in-laws!

They were amazing! Quick, efficient and super friendly. Emphasis on efficient. Super happy with the results. Would hire them again, in a heart beat.

They were great! I used them to unload my packages from my uhaul to my new place. Very professional and efficient. And they came early! Would recommend 100%

I do not enjoy the task of moving but VIG made it such a great experience. They were on time, communicated well, and very professional. They are very transparent when discussing pricing. No surprises! I will always use VIG for my moving needs. Thank you!
