Brighter day services is a wonderful company who compassionately and professionally strive to help people with disabilities learn new ways of becoming more independent. They go on outings in the community, bowling , mall trips , museums also integrate new easy cooking skills they can do with little to no assistance. All staff are properly trained on how to help and assess individual needs while also keeping the enviorment happy and upbeat.

Was very disappointed that after two days of my nephew attending Brighter Days, they asked that he not come back. As his legal guardian, I understand he has a day first day and he had acted out. I was informed the second day went better and he was excited about an outing planned for what would have been his third day. On his second day attending, consent papers were sent home for the outing on the third day. Later that evening (after the second day he attended), Brighter Days called and informed that he was unable to come back to Brighter Days. As a company who is supposed to care for individuals with disabilities, I feel as though my nephew was not given a fair chance at this program. Prior to enrolling him, a formal meeting had taken place and Brighter Days was fully aware of his disability and his behaviors. I believe everyone deserves a chance, regardless of their disabilities. I was truly disappointed with their lack of professionalism, lack of communication, and lack of empathy.
